Wiggins with a 20-8-8 +15 game, and hes the only guy (and rozier) singled out as a team killer by heat fans. Weird.

He had some good plays and played decent. I think the back to back turnovers at one point colored everyones opinion of him tonight.

He's averaging 20-9-6-1-1 +17.5 in the play ins while being 1st or 2nd in every category. That's a jimmy impact boxscore. People were clumping him in with rozier and Robinson before this game, it's just gotten worse. It's just surprising is all.

As soon as the trade was made, I predicted that heat fans would turn on him. Now to go play the lottery:).

Lol I tried to keep people's expectations in check after the trade was made. After watching him on the Warriors, I knew he was going to be maddening to the Heat fanbase just bc of how far apart his highs are from his lows. Overall, I think he's been solid. And it's obvious the Heat are the ones that want him to take the shots he's been taking, or he wouldn't be playing. Wiggs is far from a selfish player that chucks shots just to chuck shots (cough, Rozier).

Wiggs has been phenomenal too. We really need someone else to bring some aggression besides Herro and Bam.

I don’t even mind if they miss shots, what matters is the intensity. You could see how passive Bam got when the Hawks started making their run.

I'm not so sure about that. Bam looked gassed AF. There's ways that he moves & reacts that I'm used to seeing that just weren't there. The man was tired AF playing great defense. Ware couldn't be trusted much to give him reprieve, so he had to hustle. And hustle he did.

To all the new posters you have to understand in game threads people go through the emotions of the game so one minute they love a guy the next they hate him. If you read the thread from beginning to end you’ll think people are bipolar lol.

Not to harp but Duncan fueled their run in the 4th quarter. Just the same thing every game because we can’t switch fast enough on to their 3 point shooters.

This is what you get with Bam year after year elite defense, but his offense will leave you scratching your head. And the guy is 27, for crying out loud. I don’t wanna hear excuses about him being gassed when people are out here calling him a two-way monster.

I think Wiggins is fine when he's playing well. But he has those Duncan-type mental lapses that make you question his BBIQ. He makes those types of decisions where he can just give all momentum away and it feels like he has at least a few every game. Its extremely frustrating to watch.

That said, him being able to create his own shot somewhat while being a good wing defender is huge. Also I do wonder if more reps with the team and Spo having more time to fully create a system that helps him still be effective while not being in the slasher role would change my mind. I guess we'll see if he's still here after the off season.

The part that makes Wiggs so frustrating is he can look like both the best player on the floor and the worst player on the floor in the same game. You just need to accept that there's gonna be some bad that comes with the good, and that there's usually more of the good lol.
