First time ever Heat vs Cavs in the playoffs, but these franchises have had great moments in the past nonetheless!

I think Golden State is beating Houston, but if they don't, the possibility exists of Miami outlasting Butler in these playoffs. Not by much, but that would still be amusing.

This is a completely different heat team with our Jimmy. Ya gotta stop lol. The only way the heat can come close to making this series competitive is if they shot blistering hot from 3 like they have done in the past. They do that and it becomes a closer series. I say cavs in 5 but maybe the heat can push it to 6. The heat are not winning 4 out or 7 games without butler.

Heat are capable of playing a tough brand of basketball, which is Cleveland’s weakness, but yeah… I don’t really see a path to victory here for Miami, not in a seven game series. From just a pure talent standpoint, it feels like an utter mismatch.

The sad thing is, there have been worse teams in the playoffs than this Heat team. All from the East, and probably a couple with less than 30 wins.

When are you kids going to learn? The regular season means nothing. We win a game in cleveland and bye bye home court advantage.

My guess is Cavs in 5, but never count out coach Spo

We had way worst last year without Butler.

Sure but this is you at full strength

It's not, Heat have dealt with various injuries all season. This is also spo's worst coaching season. He lost at least 10 games himself off poor rotations and simply not playing Ware (almost lost against the Hawks due to his love with small ball)
Not to mention Butler missing all those games due to the drama/suspension so you essentially had 50m on the bench for more than a quarter of the season.

Bam was dreadful for 80% of the season and didn't start looking like BAM again until Spo finally inserted Ware into the starting lineup allowing Bam to play PF full time.

On top of that Heat traded for Wiggins and he too missed several games. Jovic who I'd say is Heat's 4th best player has been injured for two months and didn't play in the tournament...so no Heat have not been at full strength and when you consider the time it takes to gel after trading your best player, it's even commendable they made the playoffs. I personally wanted them to tank to bolster their chances at Flagg and co but Heat are too headstrong to due the obvious. They're much better than their record indicates, doesn't mean they'll beat Cavs but don't think it'll be a dominating sweep like you and others are implying.

I expect these brainless takes that lack context from Twitter not Realgm.

37-45 and probably worse than their record suggests. Shout to any neutral fans tuning in to this series, you’re a real basketball sicko. Could the Heat, who just played two do or die games, steal game 1? That’s about all the intrigue you can expect.

Vegas is actually giving the Heat better odds to win their series than they are Orlando. Significantly I think( the Heat are +1000 and the Magic are +1800). Why is Cleveland so disrespected? They won 64 games. What did OKC do to get so much respect? Is Cleveland the most disrespected 60 win team in NBA history?

Their jb years make no one believe in them, we'll see if Kenny can be more successful. Kenny has only coached 5 post season games in his career, as the head coach.
