I think I remember reading that Mara actually prefers to play similar to Wolf so this is a smart move.

With college spacing, he's going to have to do it from the block. No way he would be able to get away with playing like Wolf, dancing with the basketball at his height around the three point line.

at some point you just end up rotting away in college if you don't join the league, especially if you transfer and you're more or less the same player. it's a sink or swim year for Mara so good luck to him.

No dancing but the offense going through him. Lots of diving in PnR, pick in pop threes, working high-lows so he can utilize his passing and shooting touch.

He's undraftable right now, so collect the paycheck and see if you can show something. Im not sure he is a functional enough athlete to ever play meaningful minutes in the NBA though.

Kentucky got Quaintance and Jaland Lowe. I think both of those guys could be first round picks next year.

Some of these kids are way too old. You shouldn’t be allowed to play college basketball if you’re 26. 23 is the cutoff and than go get a job or do something else

he's had a very circuitous path though. Guys like him I don't have a problem with because he's getting paid. Despite the obvious talent his health concerns and age won't get him drafted so make money while he can. He's got legit NBA talent but he'll need to prove it in the G-League and hope for injuries and some luck to get his shot most likely. That's always going to be there (at least for the next several years) whereas making a $1 million playing college won't.

This Nico levels bad, dude you don't get to get paid the most and demand your position, his requirements are he plays PG. What next? You also need to be guaranteed 15 shots and 30 mpg too?
