Remember when Tatum demanded a trade because Udoka was let go?

Embiid demanded a trade to the Wizards when Doc Rivers got canned.

Donovan Mitchell went crazy demanding a trade to the Hornets when the Cavs fired Bickerstaff.

Ja Morant and Jokic are already demanding trades, saying "they fired my coach, maaaan!"

It was wild when Giannis demanded a trade because they fired coach Bud a couple of years after winning a championship with them.

I bet you remember when Derozan demanded a trade because Casey was fired after he got the 1st seed, 59 wins, and Coach of the year...all because the Raps got embarrassed in the 2nd round.

History is about to repeat itself....If the Knicks get embarrassed in the 2nd round....bye Thibs..

Don't believe the Thibslobber hype...Brunson is the undisputed King of NY and would never demand a trade.

Yah, I also disagree. I feel like people haven't watched Brunson for the first few seasons on the Knicks, when they keep saying this stuff. Like...are we seriously thinking that teams wouldn't have played Brunson physical if that was his weakness? It took the whole league 3 years on the Knicks before they figured it out? Or maybe his 32 ppg in the playoffs last year was cause teams were locking him down and he should have had 40?

Brunson has been getting played physical his whole career and he's never let it stop him. It's KAT I'm more worried about. Brunson is cold-blooded.

I mean the issues for JB is that Pistons can play him physical and with size AND athleticism.

Yea, I'm sorry but this is seriously nothing unique. This is basically the playbook against any superstar in this league, and this is something that has been going on forever.

Sorry, but I think that people are trying to make up this narrative about Brunson. He thrives in these conditions; he does it in the playoffs year after year and against much better teams than the Pistons, and he's done it with less offensive help before, too. If we fail, it's probably going to be a lot more likely that it's Mikal or KAT that doesn't show up.

I never said that I don't like Tom, I can’t speak for everyone else though. I posted that gif to mess with melo moreso than trying to read Brunson's thoughts

Everything I've said about Tom in criticism is about basketball, it's not personal or me trolling, but I am frustrated I do admit.

Last two seasons I never had an issue with Tom's coaching at all, but this year there are things happening that are too hard to ignore and i do not think he has remotely gotten the best out of this roster as constructed.

I don't think he'll leave but I do think think that Tom shouldn't be disrespected or humiliated either, because that absolutely would be a problem.

Treat him like Brad Stevens was. His voice and ear can still be valuable assets to the franchise but I just don't think his approach coaching wise in terms of his offensive and defensive philosophies will take this roster to the next level.

I don't think Thibs would accept the role unless D.Rose was given a Knicks front office position and Taj Gibson was made an assistant coach.

Yep. These MSG games can be a pain in the ass against young teams... who's going to be random scrub of the night putting up a one hit career numbers for this game? Plus, it's a day game... oh boy... Knicks were better off having Game 1 on the road at 8 PM...

Just like Carmelo Anthony, the current King of NY will stay the King of NY and not demand a trade unless he is ran out of town. Players know coaching changes are a part of the game.

Same here---disregarded some or most criticism until this season. Thibs really managed the season poorly and I find Bridges' comments pretty much a confirmation that the criticism is not just fans being frustrated but pretty legit. Add to that that numerous commentators, Ex-Knicks and other NBA legends have brought up similar criticism.

Maybe Brunson can get a 1st quarter knee injury and we can see more of Delon Wright and how Thibs offense is supposed to function without Jalen f*cking it all up.

Crazy how in the 12 years since we drafted Timmy, he and KP are the only Knicks draft picks currently starting on a playoff team. Not a great player but the hate Timmy received compared to some of our other busts doesnt add up.

The funniest thing about him was after we traded him away we signed him In free agency to a hilarious deal and traded him again.

Oh I have no doubts in big balls Brunson. I just think that he is going to have a difficult time with being effective and efficient. He is going to give 110% He is going to be a pit bull. The issue is that Detroit and Houston probably have the best ability to impact his effectiveness.
