Expanding the playoffs was great but I hate the portal/NIL.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I dunno the best thread for this. We'll go with this one.
Kyren Lacy was found dead overnight. You can put two and two together.

Getting less money, and going from a no income tax state to the state with the highest income tax.
Well played, buddy.

Entered the portal, withdrew from the portal, re-entered the portal, signed with UNC, then signed with Texas.

I always figured his son would get the gig in a year or two but who knows, Bill might bail before their first game.

Why don't these NIL documents they are signing contain penalties and/or non-competes? Wouldn't that be the easiest way to prevent people from bailing?
Sure, that will give schools that don't put the language in a leg up in signings, but then they will be taking on more risk too.

They desperately need contracts or some sort of control. I'm fine with player movement, but it's ridiculous right now.

Re: College Football Discussion - CFP
Preseason rankings are often laughable by the time the season ends but an opening weekend of #1 Texas Vs. #2 Ohio State, #6 Clemson vs. #9 LSU and #10 Miami vs. #5 Notre Dame should be fun. I think Texas and OSU will be legit, not sure about the other 4.

Re: College Football Discussion - CFP
I still do not understand the hype around Illinois other than the fact that they've drawn a somewhat easy schedule again. I respect it as a Badgers fan of, "put a solid/consistent team out there every year, the breaks will go your way most of the time" but Illinois was a few plays away from going 6-6 or missing a bowl last year against a **** schedule.

I've never cared about NFL RedZone and don't watch it, but I'd watch the **** out of a College Football version. I already mostly do with all the displays I have running on Saturdays in the fall.

With how many games are going at one time. This will happen.ReasonablySober wrote:

College basketball maybe also?
I dont think mlb, nba, or nhl can happen since they all play different time and days.

Re: College Football Discussion
ESPN will have to cut deals with the other networks to have a college Red Zone setup. NBATV does something similar called Crunch Time. They basically go to any game that's close in the last 5 minutes.
