That's a valid concern. Hopefully, if Lebron does come out rusty after that rest, Luka and AR pick him up. Long term no worries about James, though. Crazy to say that about a 40 year old player. He is re-writing the whole narrative on NBA players. Trolls and other assorted ankle biters hardest hit.

All-NBA 2nd team looks like a lock. Groin injury might've cost him both first team and the 25 PPG streak but alas
Will be his 21st All-NBA selection (13 first, 4 second, 4 third) in 22 seasons, extending his lead over Kobe/Duncan/Kareem at 15.

It's unreal how quickly the NBA media has moved on to shrug off LBJ's season. He was playing at fringe 1st Team All-NBA level from December up to his groin injury.

Other than "just not liking him personally", which is weird and irrational for "disliking" someone who has absolutely no power over you and that you don't know in person, I can't see how anyone cannot have Lebron in their GOAT/Mount Rushmore discussion. It makes no sense. His peak is up there with the best and his longevity is unparalleled, epsecially for a wing. Obviously, KAJ was great for a long time, as well. Even the idiotic "Rangzzzz" argument is voided due to the fact that his teams have 4 of them.

As the playoffs start and there is discussion about “supporting casts,” “injuries,” and so on, I wanted to bring up something that LeBron did that not many people talk about and something that gets swept under the rug by the usuals: the 4-0 sweep of a 60 win Hawks team.
Kevin Love was injured and not playing, Kyrie was hobbled and played only 49 total minutes and scored 13 points per game, and LeBron and the Cavs swept the Atlanta Hawks.
+14 NetRtg
+10.1 rORtg — the highest minutes were played by Tristan Thompson, Iman Shumpert, JR Smith, Matthew Dellavedova, and Timothy Mozgov. They were playing Tristan Thompson and Mozgov together in many of those lineups, i.e., non-spacers, non-shooters, and yet this team had a +10 relative offensive rating, something that a player such as Nikola Jokić has never achieved in any series in the playoffs.

But you see, they don't count, cause LeBron James and a bunch of bums swept them by 14 ppg.
This place is a cesspool of mindless ineptitude, mental decrepitude, and intellectual lassitude. I refuse to be sucked any deeper into this whirlpool of groupthink sewage. My opinions have been expressed. I'm going to go take a shower.

Has been really bad offensively against Minny for 3yrs now. Can't do a thing against Gobert.
Desperately needs his 3ball.

Feels a bit like a feel out game but you get the nagging feeling that he may not have enough in the tank to keep up with the Wolves athleticism

That's the one thing that worried me about this Wolves team. They have amazing speed and it's something LA doesn't handle well defensively at all. Or in LeBron's case, on either end. He is actually moving well out there. Let's see if that's enough to propel him into a big 2nd half.

Ouch
Worst Game 1 humiliation of LeBron's career
Minnesota has gotten any shot they've wanted. Completely exposing LA's inability to contain dribble penetration and their nonexistent size inside.
On to Game 2 now

figured it would happen. Lakers traded away a mismatch down low which I said from the beginning.. Yess. I always got it.. Doncic is a future generational player. I get that. But you dont trade your mismatch advantage for hm. You keep it. Why is management so **** stupid today. Its common sense. You keep the mismatch advantage and trade your future parts for him. You keep AD/ bring on Doncic and trade away LeOld and the rest of the pointless trash.. Thats how this works. Sorry but thats life

Don't know what's more concerning the defense or the offense. Butt-kicking from the 2n qtr on.
LA's defense invites a lot of 3's. Minnys a good 3pt shooting team. They were gonna have a hot game or 2 in this series but man, game 1.
Offensively, just 15ast total. Luka-Lebron-Reaves 7ast to 11to's.
Just a complete wipe out.

Hayes only playing 8mins is interesting because he's literally their best athlete. Remove him and Rui & Vando are their only high-end athletes....and Vando just a situational player.

What are you even on about?
Nico wasn't going to trade Luka for LeBron. He wanted AD.
You're either trolling poorly or you should read a book and get more knowledge of the NBA.

Hayes is unplayable in this series and might be unplayable in the playoffs in general.
Everyone plays harder in the playoffs and he brings nothing to the table.
