I've seen much, much worse. And that's just for Denver.

Any franchise that signs/trades for Westbrook is not serious about winning a championship.

Maybe he can put a little effort into defense also.

Not easy to find a backup center with that skillset though. I assume you're suggesting Jaylin Williams based off that ridiculous thread last week? He doesn't actually play like a hub for OKC.

He doesn't typically because they don't play that way but he has the skill to do it. He's a relatively cheap backup option that is a mobile big that can run some of the same actions as Jokic in the 16 minutes Jokic sits.

I don't hate the idea, and I like Jaylin Williams. I just think that thread was very confused at how J.Will plays. He's 6'8" and has mostly played as a spot up shooter. He survives at center because he has a great motor. He operates a little bit as a roll man but isn't a scoring threat inside. I can't see a world where he's able to run any of the same actions. I watched a few of those games where he piled up assists, and it's not like he was some kind of DHO hub.

Not against the idea of Jaylin Williams in Denver, I just think a few people have gotten a little imaginative based on him having some high assist games. He's super super low usage and more of a connective passer than a hub. Spotting up is his main offensive role in the NBA so far.

Isnt that why Denver drafted Da'Ron Holmes? I dont know alot about him but he was supposed to play behind Jokic this season

He's out there making Westbrook looking good on 10 the salary.

He seems fatigued after 1 quarter every game at 27 years of age.

Also very injury prone.
Hostile to media.
1 way player.
Mid FG% (even with Jokic)
Benched on Canadas National Team, stank it up last year.
He is averaging his rookie numbers, despite playing more minutes per game.

Malone would've just played Saric and Westbrook at the five anyway.

It doesn't refute the point. He didn't have three fouls when Harden was making uncontested layups in the first quarter.

People asking why Simmons is getting playoff minutes in 2025, but as a Bulls fan, I'm more amazed that Kris Dunn is not only getting playoff minutes, but is a starter, in 2025. Didn't have that on my bingo card.

They played awful because they can’t defend a chair. Clips in 6

yeah, denver looked awful on defense but then the clippers simply melted down on offense somehow? which is even weirder. we'll just have to wait and see I guess.

MPJ- if he can’t shoot the 3 he brings absolutely nothing else to the table

Westbrook- he can be good, but please NEVER drive the ball to the basket for a layup

And how often can he shoot the three?

Holmes had a season ending injury in the summer league before start of this season. Would've been a superb rotation player for us. Mr Watson and Doc Holmes

I remember watching his documentary when he got drafted and everything on NBA TV lol

Yeah I thought he’d be out of the league at this point.

Did the say Brunson with two 40pt games in a row last playoffs was the first since Jordan to do that? There’s no way that’s true right? I must have heard it wrong

Yeah joker has to give more effort. It’s pathetic. Too late now for this game since he has 3 fouls
