Talk about the most epic treadmill team ever. All as a result of a perma-tank approach.

You really gotta wonder what they have even been doing the past 5 years.

Team is being led by Cade and three journeymen in Harris, Beasley and THJ. I’m happy they made the playoffs but if I’m a Pistons fan I wouldn’t be happy with the lack of young talent on the roster.

Ausur, Duren, and Cade is a reasonable young core to build with. No particularly deep in young talent but good enough upside that they could be a perennial second round team if they manage their assets right and hit 90% of their potential.

Jalen Fraudson and American Bargnani are not a winning combo.

They’re still quite good but playoff Towns is still playoff Towns yeah. And Brunson turns his ankle every other game it seems.

Not sure Ausur or Duren are good enough to take a team to the 2nd round with Cade without getting a ton of other contributions from others.

I see Ausur as an excellent complimentary player. Duren is a solid big man with some flaws.

The East is going to get really competitive.

He has not been great in the playoffs in his career. He was good last year though. Maybe a sign he’s turned things around.
