OG was incredible for what he did on both ends. Should be DPOY or at least all NBA first team defense.

Brunson big time in the clutch. KAT was solid. Cam Payne huge off the bench, don’t win without him. Mitchell Robinson had a big impact defensively when he was in there

If deuce has another game like that, sit his ass for Delon. Thibs still needs to get his ass outta here.

shamet was miserable too...he lost beasley like twice chasing him around schemes that can't happen.

I don't know whats wrong with Deuce his confidence is shot.

Need that shot and confidence back. I think he needs the ball more to get in rhythm, but we can't afford that time. He needs to come in as an efficient microwave.

I don't think we see brunson play that poorly in the 1st half though.

Also the guys with most playoff experience on DET were the ones that were shook the most in that 4th quarter. Timmy, Tobias, and Schroder disappeared in this game when the pressure ramped up.

Mitch starting to move better

He was running full court to get back on defense without looking winded

It feels like his impact may start to grow steadily by the game now

If Mitch is locked in, having him and OG on the court together with a focused KAT playing defense like he did in the 4th and you start have some possibility of legit frontline resistance to get more stops. A half dozen more key stops a game can keep winning you games.

Payne really set the tone. Got that 5 second violation to start the 4th. The and one when we went down 8. The crazy step back 3 when it was 100-98 to stretch it to 5. Pivotal moments.

That said our bench is scaring the crap out of me and I don’t think we can count on that every night

I might be ready to move on from Mikal....nice player but he doesn't seem to have a 2nd gear and his fragility runs counter to Knick basketball.
