They were doubling and he kept finding the open man, he's unsolvable this game.

Well he better find a better way to prevent those switches from happening so easily. Because it's Wolves in 4 if it keeps happening. Finch babied JJ this game.

you can't hide 3 bad defenders (Rui/Reeves/Luka) and a player that plays defense in spurts (Lebron). There's no scheme that will work. You can bring in Vander whatever and Gabe but you sacrifice size and offense.

Nico desperately on the phones right now calling league executives in an attempt to improve next year's Lakers.

What a game for Jaden McDaniels. He's a huge pivot piece. If he plays like this Wolves have potential.

honestly by NBA standards he isn't.

This is total bs. He complains all the time, and is constantly riding the refs. Says crazy things to them, without penalty.

Terrence Shannon, you’re not scoring 25 against the Lakers again, like you did at the end of February!

I’m a bit surprised to see no Jaylen Clark until now?

This was always going to be a nightmare match up for The Lakers, pros like Naz Reid and McDaniels are excellent lock down players.

Factor in no one at the Lakers can actually guard Ant and its nightmare fuel for LA

From a fundamental standpoint it is better for a man to have nothing but be under the protection of Jesus Christ than for him to have everything he could ever want yet be completely without.

I guess the question here isn't if the Lakers have the ability to turn this around and win the series, do they have the energy/legs to grind it out with them for 7 games. It seems like every year they look more and more drained and worn out. there is not an easy 1st round opponent...not sure if there even is one for anyone thats not the Thunder.

I know Knechts contribution has been invaluable today but I think mark Williams might have helped in this game

Huh? He's 8-19 for 22 points. Luka has 37.

Ant created mismatches and got the Wolves wide open looks, Luka got his scoring but didn't really help anyone.
It was cleat as day to anyone watching.
Defense wins draft lotteries!
Fortune favours the bold, so it ducked Nico Harrison.

I didn’t have Randle with more assists than Lebron on my bingo card.

I might go read through the first 50 pages of this thread, and laugh at all the Laker posters’ disrespect for the Wolves.

Luka got players plenty of open looks, they just weren’t hitting.

All "stars" do and always have and they get better calls.
