2025 Playoffs: Round 1, Game 1: Heat @ Cavs - 7pm EST on 4/20

We have to get something from our front court. Ware did his job last night (for the time he actually played), but Bam left a lot to be desired on both sides of the ball in the second half. The day in between isn't a lot of rest though, plus with travel. With how gassed Bam was, I don't have high expectations that we'll win, but I'd like if he can at least make them guard and shut down Mobley and put some fear in his heart. I expect the latter for the rest of the series for sure, but the consistency on offense is still needed.

On Tyler, it's a tall task but he will need to stay at least even with Donovan as far as offensive output, that is what we will need. Can't have the turnovers either, that's been the one area where he has been bad in these first two games.

I hope Spo drills it into them that rebounding must be a team effort too. All hands on deck there. If we get killed on the boards it doesn't matter how good Bam or Tyler do, we will lose this series.

Big ask here. Cavs are very talented, and big.

Would like to see Spo uncork Niko into the big rotation, but I don’t think it’ll happen.

Ware gotta hold his own on Allen, and Bam needs to outplay Mobley.

Gotta think we’re the 8 seed that they wouldn’t have wanted to see though. This team is inconsistent in application, but they’re capable.

Every cavs fans think we lose in 4/5 games. I don't see it. The last game we played against cavs, Rozier and Klove started. Rozier played 40 mins, klove 16 mins. Sprinkle in duncan lack of defense and cavs barely won. The game before that, Duncan started (30 mins) , Rozier played 33 mins, JJJ(7 mins) etc. Not to mention, no Wiggs in any contest. The Cavs have not played this version of Heat. I don't want to sound to cocky, but I believe we win this series.

Game 1 could be tough coming off the playin and limited rest. Could be an emotional let down game going up against a fresh Cavs team. We are 12.5 point dogs

Lol I can't be concerned with the thoughts of some deranged fan who posts night and day and loses their **** whenever anyone says anything truthful about the object of their obsession.

He was great to start the game and then he was underwhelming the rest. It is what it is. I hope he gets out of the mini slump because we'll need him against the Cavs.

I didn't watch a lot of them this year, but I know in previous years they have just been a classic good during the regular season, but not mentally tough enough for the playoffs team. If that's still the same, we have as much of a chance as anyone to make it a dog fight with them.

Expecting a loss tomorrow with the short rest, and then Spo adjusts and Heat win game 2. I then expect to be coming back to Cleveland in game 5 with the series tied 2-2. Hot shooting in the remaining 2 out of 3 could give the Heat a series win. But I think realistically they’ve got a 30% chance to pull it off.

Good to see Niko on the court. Still seems to have some sort of sleeve on his hand, so doubt he actually sees any on-court time this series, but would have been a great weapon to bring off the bench.
