A bench player scores 14 and salvages a loss and we act like he's Ginobelli. Thib really got them ready at halftime. Brightside KAT remembered he has feet and is allowed to move them.

5 1sts for -16 poor mans Iman Shumpert.

That’s what we on tonight?

If they lost you’d blame him for not going to the obvious answer Cam Payne?

Or do you appreciate the adjustment?

You kinda need your players to score, thats how it works. Nobody says DeAndre Hunter scored 14 and saved Atkinson lol

Brunson needs to be aggressive scoring the ball. I actually like that with him that he is super aggressive. If it was up to me KAt and Brunson would be taking 20+ shots every game.

I swear I knew they were screwed when he was shimmying in the 3rd quarter. It lit the fuse

Reminded me of the 2011 nba finals game 2 when LeBron and Wade were dancing and goofing around up 15 and the Mavs closed the game on a 21-3 run or something like that to flip the series. You wanna be a cornball you better wait until it’s over

Well he’s an attacking and scoring PG. That’s what he’s great at. If you have Allen Iverson on your team you don’t tell him to go out there and pretend like he’s a pass first PG you tell him to go score points and pass when it’s available

This fanbase is infatuated with a player like Kolek who will get 8 assists and 0 points because I guess that’s more savvy or whatever than Brunson scoring 34 points. And I say this as someone whose favorite players were Jason Kidd and Rondo. But when you have a great player who can score like Brunson the strategy is to take advantage of that and lean in your strengths, not try to fit a square peg in a round hole and tell him to stop shooting and try to be something he’s not
The criticism is even funnier when you account for him being 8th in the league in assists (essentially tied with CP3) while being basically the 3rd most efficient ISO player in the league

I get he had a bad first half but at this stage of the season you have to trust your stars and let them shoot their way out of a slump, that’s the right call imo

What more does Brunson need to do to earn our trust

Mikal was locked in. Thibs still made the correct call to roll with the hot hand, but I thought Mikal was super active and physical defensively.

100%. Cam was insane. The team looked alright overall. It will be tough once in a while if the Pistons hit everything for stretches. I am concerned about Brunson though. But we have many options, many counters, quite some depth and defensive ability. We can always go to the Mitch+Towns lineup so let’s hope the coach understands that.

Tom has got to find a way to get those two on the floor together more.

Also, at least for this series, having Cam and Brunson together can work...having two ball handlers on the floor makes a huge difference.

The practice time was good for this team overall, this is the sharpest they've looked in weeks. I thought Tom had them prepared and the game plan to lock Cade down and live with Tobias Harris carrying them was excellent. No complaints, even when Detroit took the lead I felt like the game was under control.

If Shamet or Deuce can't produce effectively at home again, I seriously consider playing Wright.

They all did.

Like you aren't the bad boys and you haven't accomplished anything. Calm down.
