This board wanted to trade him for 2nd rounders. At the end of the day, it never made sense to keep him for 5 years at nearly 18 million a year especially at his age and his limitations.

Clippers are not going to do well with him in the starting lineup. Good player but the team needed to get younger.

Oh for sure. A nice late FRP. But they’d take two SRPs if they can’t get a FRP. All about asset accumulation.

There was a debate a couple of years ago as to who was better, Mikal or OG? Many thought Mikal and now I feel like OG is better.

I watched them all season. Mikal seems to have slipped. I didn't watch him that much when he was in Phoenix and was second in dpoy one year. But he's not like that now. Plus the Knicks had him guarding POA point guards and fighting through screens a lot, which is not his forte. He's better against wings but not as strong as OG.

The Clippers are always stacked. It’s so easy for them to find role players for cheap like it’s nothing. Denver meanwhile looks like a one man team when Murray isn’t playing well. It’s funny because imo Denver should be the underdog in this series.

To me, stacked means like GSW when they added KD. LAC isn't stacked. They tried to be when they added PG with Kawhi but that failed. And have retooled nicely.

Clippers retooled nicely given their circumstances. If they had their own picks then they most certainly would have taken a different route. 36 year old Harden and injury-prone 34 year old Kawhi is not the duo they’d feel too good about. If they can’t beat Denver then they are toast.

What I mean is they pick up role players for very cheap where other teams would struggle. They were stacked when they originally got Kawhi, but they underachieved. Even now they have a bunch of role players they got for cheap.
