Do you think any team goes into a series knowing they aren’t going to win? Do you think they talk to each other and say, “let’s get that extra money and go home.”

I know Teague said he thought they were going to lose, I think that Bucks championship season but that was after losing the first two IIRC. That’s not the same as before the series even starts. I mean, it was a soft take, but I want to know if it happens before they even tip game 1.

OKC drew the worst possible team in the playoffs, which isn't a good thing for them. They won't be tested until the next round. Still don't think it's a given they come out of the west.

I would say they think it, but they would never admit it. It's human nature to think it. Professional athletes aren't regular humans though, so maybe not. Memphis sure is thinking it now.

Memphis is playing so soft as well. There was a break away layup in the first half where the Memphis player (Pippen?) just turned aside and allowed them OKC player (Williams) an easy dunk. He needed to send him to the foul line.

2 of the 8 WC teams recently fired their coaches due to internal dysfunction. That's a sizable handicap. Memphis wouldn't have a chance against anybody right now, let alone OKC. They might be able to keep this under 40 though.
