OKC getting Hartenstein as a FA and trading for Caruso really solidified them as the best team in the league..... of course Giddey has been playing really well for the Bulls so that trade doesn't like nearly the home run as it did at first but I still would probably give the edge to Sam Presti.

No coach has ever repeated as COY, I guess they just don't like to vote like that.

Otherwise I'd have thought Daigneault warranted consideration again- 68 wins is a rare feat. 5 teams EVER have done better than that.

Yes and it felt like his name was never really ever mentioned. They were expected by many to be the #1 seed in the WC so it seems like its more about exceeding expectations. Honestly if he would have won 2 more games and got 70 it would have been pretty crazy that only the Bulls and Warriors would have ever had a better record and he still likely wouldn't have finished top two in voting.

Kings just go out and grab a new GM the next day. No type of search process or anything lol.

Why do any actual research when you can just rinse and repeat?

I saw an article, before they made the move, that the new guy was going to have full control over the team, but also mentioned how Christie has the inside track on getting the job.

The Kings seem to have no interest in actually improving, it’ll be interesting to see how long before Sabonis requests a trade out

OKC killing Memphis 80-38
I thought "This might be a good series. Two young teams, Ja vs. SGA" - yeah, right!
Lakers got blown out - another boring game... Boston-Orlando doesn't sound enticing. GS-Houston will be the game of the night but it doesn't start until about 10pm.

Jalen Green with only 7 points, Rockets typical RS team, can't step up when it really counts.

They're super young like us and haven't earned their playoff scars yet.

I’m hoping that we can snag Jabari Smith Jr.

He’s not even starting for the Rockets and I think he could really blossom here.

Even Tari Eason would be a nice get. I doubt they can keep both.

Don’t know if anyone ever mentioned this, and I’m definitely not starting a thread for it…

Our only pick in the draft is officially #37 (TOR’s 2nd).

Do the Pistons have cap space next season? I see the Cavs can only offer Ty Jerome $14.3m next season.
