The wining strategy for Orlando is to turn the series to a slow, inside game and win by dominating FT attempts. AND really lowing offensive TOs.

Wins are all unlikely game to game. But not impossible.

I like that the practice interviews today, the Magicians all had positive body language.

The team finished a strong 10-4, and probably thinks this is "the real Magic". That said, even if the Magic is actually a 71% team (10/14=0.71), Boston is still better in almost all metrics late in the season, additionally. Boston is healthy and focused; and DEFENDING champions for a reason.

Winning the series is HIGHLY improbable. But not impossible.

So: one game at a time, and all that.

I think The Thunder just broke a 30 year old Magic record for largest Game 1 blowout in NBA history.

I remember the Atlanta games were won by like 40, but that was 15 years ago. What was the record before today?

Fan duel not broadcasting the first round this season? Haven't the magic always broadcasted the first round in previous years? Don't like listening to the national broadcast in these playoff games...

The Magic don’t have a lot of defensive mismatches for Boston to attack, which goes a long way to preventing the the defensive breakdowns that the Celtics love to exploit with ball movement. The Magic are also comfortable running teams off the three point line and pressuring shots at the rim. I expect to see a lot of Brown and Tatum isos (since the Magic won’t give the Celtics chances to play their passing game) and a commitment to running Celtic shooters off the three point line and forcing them to try and score at the rim (since those are not the shots the Celtics are trying to get).
Remember when Kobe elbowed Jameer in the chin so hard Jameer was knocked down and sent skidding across the floor?

Good defence early on, but the offense...
