No seriously. I haven’t watched Houston all season. How did they win so many games with this type fo offense? Nobody on their team can score besides sengun?? How were they so good this year?

With the single exception of the Wolves over the Lakers (and both teams there have experience), these whole playoffs are playing out like a giant exhibition on “experience matters”. The vast majority of young players are sucking ass, and the few that aren’t just aren’t enough.

Can’t say it’s unexpected… it’s just not very exciting. We’ll get to see better series in r2, though.

I don’t think it’s experience. Houston’s offense is too “gimmick” based. Offensive rebounding and transition as the backbone of your offense doesn’t hold up in the playoffs. If you’re a poor shooting and bad half court offense team that’s going to show up in the playoffs.

If the games are all called this one-sided Houston has no chance. It’s like 2 different standards. Points in the paint is traditionally the greatest predictor of FTA advantage. Except when it’s called like this. I can ride with letting them be super physical like they are when the Rockets have the ball. I can ride with calling it really tight like they are doing when the Dubs have the ball. But the standards shouldn’t change at the halfcourt.

Are you by any chance watching the Rockets feed?

Just asking, because I've had it on TNT, but flipped over to the Rockets feed for a second. It was the ticky-tack foul on Brooks in the post against Green. The replay showed Green charge into a stationary Brooks' chest and then elbow him in the head before the ticky tack foul. I assume TNT left all of that out, if they showed any replay at all, which I doubt. It's funny what the camera can do sometimes.
