Mostly defense. And catching teams off-guard on offense. They scored a lot in transition (playoff opponents are more locked in to take this away) and they offensive rebounded with 2 bigs (doesn’t work against GSW because you can’t play 2 drop bigs against Curry).

Being down 20 points is not a crazy deficit in the modern game, but it is when it took you 2.5 quarters to score 40 points.
