Jalen Green is being exposed in this series. He's not a franchise player.

Anyone take the Warriors over Wolves/Clippers/Nuggets? I'm pretty torn where these guys rank with each other, folks are talking about GSW being a dark horse team here but idk if they are better than those 3 teams in a series.

Rockets have missed a lot of open shots in the 3rd. Threes, free throws, layups.

HOU had all of the signs of a “regular season team”

-try hard depth/defensive team
-lack shooting
-bad half court offense
-no go to shot creator

These teams always fizzle out in the playoffs. This isn’t meant as a knock on HOU but this wasn’t unforeseeable. When the rubber hits the road these teams always have trouble scoring in the playoffs.

Reminds me of the Raptors 21/22 team, they even use the same Nurse Ball strategy of dominating the offensive glass to win the possession battle.

It’s pretty much the exact same strategy. Control the possession game. Doesn’t work in the playoffs unless your opponent is also another inept offensive team. Works in the regular season but in the playoffs opponents tighten things up, transition opportunities shrink and your non-shooters start getting the Tony Allen treatment and your half-court offense craters even more.

That's the only reason I can't take them too seriously. If they run into the Nuggets or Wolves, they're going to get run over.

The Rockets are playing tow power forwards and two centers. I've never seen something like this.

Jimmy intentionally gives 70-80% effort during the regular season to save energy and has been doing that for years at this point

Houston won the quarter by 4. Steph sat out the last 2 minutes. I suspect he will be in soon.

Other stars need to learn from that
