Maybe I'm just old and built it up too much, but the Cena heel story was a let down.

Last night was a better show, imho.

It's sad. This is probably the last WM / Wrestling show I'll watch. The Cena heel potential was one of the things that kept me following time to time. I still like Punk and Orton. so we'll see.

That ending was a joke. Why is Travis Scott given such a prominent role? The ending had so much potential. Happy for John Cena though

If I had to guess, they know the fans hate it and think it adds to Cena's new heel persona.

It was terrible on purpose. Pretty brilliant stuff

This is sarcasm, it was terrible. Never should have let myself get roped back into this, but every time I do they remind me why I bailed

lol. I feel the same.

The crowd audio was suppressed, but it looks like Cena got a lot more cheers than boos. Even they they tried to make him a bad guy. They should have just made him the anti-hero / Thuganomics Cena and run with that.

Cody Rhodes... I was never a fan of him. But making him an overly good guy that has to fight clean didn't make me like him more.

Anyways, a Cena heel turn was probably the most anticipated storyline in WWE. And it was totally a let down.

Watch Cena hand the title to the Rock tonight as part of his agreement for selling his soul. He got his 17th and disappears while the Rock holds the title going forward.

I knew Cena would win, but that ending was very shallow and pedantic.

I guess a lot of ppl expected the Rock to come out and screw Cody, and when that didn't happen and Travis Scott (why?) appeared instead.

I thought he was gonna do a mini concert in the middle of the match.

I don’t even blame cena, I thought his heel turn at least initially was interesting and I’m even fine with the fact he won the belt. It was just everything else about it. The booking of the match, the Travis Scott thing, I could go on about how badly the match itself and this storyline played out but I won’t

Anyway he promised us he’d ruin wrestling

I agree, shallow and pedantic

Cena basically buried Cody. He beat him for 20 minutes, left him laying unconscious in the ring for 5 minutes so Travis Scott could come out and essentially do nothing, and then beat him. The rock couldn’t even be assed to show up. How does the story even make sense

Travis Scott beat Cody, Logan Paul beat AJ Styles, Paul heyman beat cm punk and Roman reigns at the same time. All you can do is laugh at how bad it is. Whoever is booking this is obsessed with low blows apparently. F wwe F hhh F Vince

Oh and the shameless advertising throughout the whole thing was really grotesque and over the top

I think it's fine for the most part. The Rock would have overshadowed the whole thing. He was even overshadowing Roman leading up to the main event last year. But despite this, it's better with him, I agree

Though I do think the only thing that would have been different is that the rock ends up pulling the ref out of the ring, instead of Travis Scott

Instead, Travis Scott is the henchman, doing the bidding and part of Cena's plan in order to beat Cody, especially since he kind of admitted he needed to do this to win

I didn't have too much of a problem with it except for the forever walk Travis took to the ring

I agree on the low blows, but it made sense for both spots. Heyman can't do anything besides that at this stage, and Cena has now hit Cody in the dick twice lol. Chicken sh*t heel stuff
