I hadn't realized that he'd played with exactly 0 All-Stars his entire time in Atlanta.

We've been talking about the 'no allstar' ad nauseum.

Every other player is getting 'allstar help' except him - but he's expected to carry the burden alone.

I hadn't realized Jokic was also bearing this some same burden.
Though, I think we can agree Jamal Murray has had numerous All Star caliber seasons over the years.

Zion might be the best thing to become available for us. If our front office pulls off a trade to acquire him I expect Trae to sign an extension.

Our starting 5 seems to be set for right now so we'll see if Field's disrupts it.

There's always a reason this team struggles in the regular season and comes up short...

Halfway through Trae's career, the 'why' doesn't even matter anymore.

Starts with continued instability with owner, front office and coaches....it's the one consistent thing.

Trae is carrying the weight of this franchise. Time to get him some real help.

While Trae does need help and has never played with an All-Star.......Who can we acquire by trade that is a consistent all-star?

That "Sporting Logically" video was surprisingly well done (once you slow the video speed down to normal rates of human speech).

I find myself agreeing with the cynicism in the last minute of the video: Atlanta will gauge interest in Trae, be disappointed with the offers (because they waited too long to trade him), and then sign him to a giant extension that locks them into a meh-to-good team until he's almost 30 and not worth anything on the trade market. That pretty much nailed the Hawks' ethos in the 21st century.

If I'm Trae, I immediately request a trade out of this dumpster fire of a franchise.

He's now on his 3rd GM and 3rd Head Coach in 7 seasons...

Trae obviously desires to win at the highest level here in the A. Not sure they can get the adequate help. Couldn't even get him another pg to lessen the load all these years.

I say get the best you can get and ship him out to a preffered destination when the time comes.
