He's had a pretty impressive hit rate this year especially with Giants FA and the Burns stuff last year...He also had a lot of misses for the prior NFL draft.

Which I guess is to be expected because of how tight lipped teams are leading up to the draft.

I think he had us trying to trade for Drake Maye which I think was confirmed true. But I think he also had us more interested in JJ McCarthy who we passed on.

still in play but the odds are very heavily weighted to Hunter going 2. I guess anything is possible until the actual pick but its not looking likely that Hunter gets to us.

You would make a lot of money if you bet on Hunter not going to the browns. I think there GM compared him to Ohtani during his press conference last week

Hope is still alive for sanders. Via Adam shefter
Officials from the Giants' organization were at most, if not all, of Sanders' games last season. They went to some of his practices. They met with him at the combine in Indianapolis in March. They flew him to New Jersey for a visit. They went to his "Showcase Day" in Boulder, Colorado. They went back to Colorado on Thursday to put Sanders through a private workout and spent a full day with him exactly one week ahead of the draft. As another NFL general manager said about the Giants general manager: "Joe Schoen has lived in Boulder."

The Giants even had access to added unique insight that no one else did: Colorado's director of on-campus recruiting for the football team is Maileka Slayton, sister of Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton.

And yet there still might not be consensus within the building about whether to draft him. There is a belief around the league that certain segments of the Giants organization want Sanders more than others. Per sources, Sanders wants to be in a place where he has the full support of an organization, and there are questions about whether the Giants fit into that category.

99% of these dudes tweeting dont know anything.

"I'm Hearing"

or

"My Sources"

Means a bunch of BS for the majority of them.

Alot of times the "hits" are simply guesses that came true. So they boast themselves about being an insider.

They all can miss even the Legit dudes. But the dude you posted above is the closest the NFL has to a Sham or WoJ who spoke on SS.

Jay Glazer is pretty legit as well.

The Problem with today is there is like a 100 dudes claiming to be an insider. When prob only like 5 of them hold any serious weight. Even some of the beat reporters be fronting to, but they are def more legit then the avg "nobodies" on twitter.

Alot of these dudes be guessing and if they guess is correct. They be like see...see...see. Im legit

Thanks, I’m still new to the football scene

So at the very least it sounds like we been doing the most scouting on shedeur more than any team in the league. Hopefully that’s a good sign

Take it with a grain of salt, but McShay is saying the personal side( schoen and his scouts) of the Giants wants to draft SS.

He is choosing his words very wisely in this clip instead of just blurting out what he “heard” in regard to the Giants.

I’m just ready for this whole schit to be over.

Personnel side is also Chris Mara and Tim McDonnell, John's nepo hires. If they are pushing for Sanders and Daboll is pushing for Carter :o

I'm with you. Whatever happens, happens, but I'm sick of the speculation. All of this just makes us sound dysfunctional as hell

Yea I think there is some divide in the organization about us drafting shedeur. It sounds like this is going down to the wire lol

Dart is meh, but it does make me think these conversations around SS and other QBs are happening in "trade back into the 1st" scenarios, not "Who do we take at #3" scenarios.

Nobody in their right mind is drafting Dart #3 overall.

yeah and I would be careful with information that is leaking like this a couple days before the draft. I feel like if the Giants want something to get out they might leak something like this to have someone try to trade back up for Dart when they are really after SS or Milroe in a trade back into 1st round type scenario...

Lot of misses from Schoen in his tenure but the one thing you can say he keeps our draft leaks pretty tight...not like Gettleman or previous regime who telegraphed they wanted DeVonta Smith and then we panic trade down for Toney ect....

But its tough to hide trade up and down rumors because you are calling teams and that gets out...so a lot of buzz has been about the Giants calling some teams in the 20's for example for a trade back in...you have to assume that is for a QB and they are trying to figure out how much it will cost to get to where to potentially get there guy.

That makes me think QB at 3 is pretty much ruled out.

i agree, that we're probably passing on shedeur at 3, the betting odds has the steelers as the most likely team to get shedeur at this point
