All this to fight tooth and nail against the Pistons after all they spent this offseason to assemble this team. If they make it to round 2 will get ugly and it will get ugly fast.

Thompson twins are the same. They haven't developed any visible offensive game. You can't live on length and athleticism alone in NBA.

Obviously on paper the talent is superior. Just from looking at this one game (which is obviously not enough) it looks like that synergy they had of playing off one another is gone. I loved last year's team, but I agreed that they ultimately needed more talent to take the next step. Unfortunately I don't think that the talent that they acquired to upgrade the team is enough to get them where they want to go. They went from a team where the whole was greater than the sum of its parts, to the exact opposite.

Towns is not a good enough defensively C to start there. Knicks screwed up by not forcing the Robinson/Towns tandem more.
