Well the game tells you what to do.

When the other team matches your "more minutes" regular season strategy.

JB needs to get back in shape man he struggles to drive by defenders and can’t stay in-front of his player either.

Thibs deserves most of the blame for how iso heavy we play with Brunson but Brunson is a smart player, you would think at some point he’ll realize how bad our shots are that he’ll make some sort of adjustment

True. we fumbled the bag as usual.

We only have one shot to change the dynamic completely - Towns and Bridges for Giannis and Portis. Throw in a first in 2039 or some ****.

I know the Bucks would prefer to rebuild if they trade Giannis and other teams have more to offer but maybe we can swing it. ****, the NBA forced Luka to Los Angeles. Maybe they can force Giannis here instead of OKC or some ****.

back to hoping for superstar miracles.....sad

Thibs was out of the NBA before coming here and will be out of the NBA once he's no longer here.

Maybe Leon can give up 5 1st rd picks of Quentin Grimes, who’s 2nd half in Philly was on par with Bridges great run with Brooklyn.

I'm usually bullish. I don't think the pistons should beat us.

But they have legit played better than us for pretty much have controlled this series all on the road outside of us blowing them out in the 4th in game 1.

It's pretty disgusting.

And we should be better in game 3...but THjr and Beasley also won't go a combined 1-14 from 3 either. Some we good contests but they also have 5 or 6 wide open looks that they usually make.

I am really not confidence Thibs is going to make the right adjustments at this point.

Absolutely everything is a struggle on offense...nothing easy. This isn't even a good defensive team with a bunch of good defenders.

We have KAT standing in the corner, stretching the floor and making sure Tobias Harris isn’t getting near the paint.

That’s some dumb ass offense.

It took a coaching change for Donovan Mitchell to realize that, it's why his regular season was so scaled back compared to normal. They took him off the ball and spread the wealth. These guys are pros and even then most of them are not going to come up off the ball unless someone is telling them to do it.

Mikal cant hit big shots against teams over .500, he's a big reason they cant beat good teams. And Towns is too timid. We really traded for Bargs and Aaron Afflalo. wtf

If you are the Pistons before the game, you'd be delighted to learn that KAT is about to take 11 shots ... and like 3 early

So silly

HEZI wrote:KAT has shrunk in the playoffs throughout his career. It’s not surprising to see him struggle. Even with the Pistons throwing double teams at him you still want to see more assertiveness and aggression from him and he just didn’t bring that. He’s probably more ideal in a 3rd option role and this team doesn’t have that true 2nd option. Not that it’s needed to beat the Pistons though, I think we can and should still win this series but after that we need to seriously evaluate this roster and ask ourselves are they really capable of being better or is this basically the peak of who we are

Yes he should have been more assertive but there’s no reason you don’t run more looks for him to put him in different actions that would open the floor up for the team or for him to get better looks.

We ran a very nonsensical offense tonight, even with a poor whistle all game being as stagnant as they were was inexcusable in that 2nd half, made for an easy gameplan defensively for DET

Still don't know why Thibs is afraid to match size on size and make KAT's job easier. OG had a hard time keeping Cade in front of him. KAT can't guard that paint area. Why are we still trying to force that 80-something games into the season??

I almost feel bad for Tom. It's a bit like watching an old guy fall in the snow outside Grand Central ... which I've seen several times

Can't play Hart and Mitch together, Knicks will win this series in 6 it's a grind weather you want to admit or not, very seldomly do you just win it in 4 or 5. Couple tweaks and they'll be fine game 3 stop over f*cking reacting they won that's all. The Officiating was brutal, absolutely brutal

We are 1-3 against them this season. It took a miracle quarter to win game 1. Yet we had another slow start. This team doesn’t play like one that has championship aspirations. Coaches had zero prep. No counter moves. Usual going through motions by Thibs. We are sleepwalking through another disappointing playoffs
