Lack of a true point guard and health was the real reason. They had their 1 true shot in the bubble. Trying to play through PG and have him facilitate was not playing to his strengths. He's too slow to take his guy off the dribble the last few years. Then when Harden arrived, Kawhi was hurt. But Kawhi and Harden, improved Zu and Powell + good defenders > any Clippers team with PG.

IMO Kawhi is the best player in the league when healthy, and this has been the case since 2019. I might be the only one to think that, but I would not take anyone else in the playoffs

I forget what the clippers announcers call him, but healthy kawhi just becomes an aimbot in the playoffs. It's insane. And I say that as someone who hated him back in the day. Like he just didn't miss.
