This aint even prime Kawhi and prime Harden!

See Lebron, this is who Curry had to face every year in the West. Meanwhile you had to face Demar Derozan, and yet you still complain when you lose and still gloat and say you had the hardest championship of all time! You didnt even have to face them dudes in their prime in the playoffs thats why you always had fresh legs!

Jokic has to do everything and he gets **** on. So lame. Kawhi doesn’t create or rebound.
Thats bull. Kawhi plays both sides. How about that? Jokic certainly saves his energy for one end.

And kawhi draws a lot of attention and has no problem getting off of it creating good looks for teammates.

And idk if you heard but...board man gets paid.

Stop crying.

Nuggets won game 1 because Jokic played good defense though.
The 1st half was a layup line because he wasn't even contesting at the rim. He had to be embarrassed into trying a little bit.

I love jokic. But come on.

I don't mean this facetiously. LeBron might be the greatest "don't go for the pump fake" guy ever. Like he practically never falls for it. And so many people try it.

Predictable ass fans.

Don’t think there is excuses. They fired their coach a week ago ? This team is not a contender, never was. Can’t play Watson, Pickett in the playoffs. I think most Denver fans would be surprised if they made it past the Clippers.

Interestingly enough he got plenty of help tonight. Where was he down the stretch? Too busy flopping

Porter, Murray, Gordon, and Braun sold hard down the stretch of this game… Not sure what you mean with “plenty of help down the stretch.” Joker deserves plenty of blame with the 7 turnovers as well, but his supporting is significantly weaker than Kawhi has with the Clippers, and all those guys I mentioned made huge mistakes in the final 4 minutes of the game.

Think you’re still fuming at the loss brother.

Kawhi’s as good as it gets. Easily MVP level when he actually plays.

Clippers threw the ball away 20 times in game 1 and Denver needed OT to beat them by 2. This is a ridiculous take. Westbrook is the 6th man in Denver - this is not a recipe for success. The only reason Denver has a legitimate chance of taking this series is because Jokic is an all time great talent. Otherwise, Clippers would be the easy pick.

If you remove the best player from a team then they probably lose

yeah thats how that works

That’s not what I said. I don’t think there is any player in this league outside Jokic that gives this group a chance to beat the Clippers.

Last 4 seasons, they are 13-23 when he doesn't play.

Nah. And the urge to constantly rank everyone is really pathologic.

Prime KD, prime Kawhi are a joy to watch. Dunno why there always have to be arguments over who is "the best" or "x better than y".

Nuggets already playing Jokic and Murray minutes in the mid 40s at the start of the series is worrying. Those guys are likely to run out of gas at the end of games later in the series if that keeps up. I think we saw some of it today with Jokic missing free throws he normally hits and uncharacteristically bad decision making at times

Murray had a good overall game, and honestly so did westbrook and porter within their limitations

Jokic himself commited costly turnovers and shot bad from the line which didnt help in a 3 point loss

Did anyone seriously think Denver would sweep the Clippers or something? This looked like a 7-game series from the jump.

Of course.

If anyone was defended like Jokic their output would drop dramatically.

Adelman knows what is coming and guys have to be ready to make plays.

I love Kawhi but there's no universe where he could lead a playoffs in PTS, REB and AST like Jokic did. And he's not defended like Jokic, either.

And there is no way Jokic could ever lead a team as their best offensive and defensive player like Kawhi can.

Kawhi is not at Jokic's level, and I'm a huge Kawhi fan.

Jokic's playoffs DBPM when he led the playoffs in PTS, REB and AST was +3.7

Kawhi has had one playoff run with a better DBPM, and he averaged 22/6/2.

Different levels of player. And Kawhi is one of the all time greats but he's not at Jokic's level and only a very small group of players in NBA history are in that conversation.
