Time to take a 2-0 lead. Keep the pedal to the metal.

It's easy to feel very comfortable after that game one but the team needs to be vigilant. This series is not over by any means, the Lakers could respond in extreme fashion and getting a win after responding would put all of the confidence and fire back under their butts. Best thing we can do is crush them again, should be much harder said than done but if the Timberwolves manage to do that, even just steal another win tomorrow night, that could fatally cripple the Lakers chances mental capacity to comeback.

What I loved about game 1 though, is that it showed us that we can in fact be a major problem for the Lakers. They are absolutely beatable. Let's do it again in game 2 and then you can start feeling pretty damn comfortable.

We won game 1 against the Griz and did not advance. We won game 1 against Denver (and 2,) then went to 7. Winning game 1 is nice, but this team cannot for one moment in any series let itself get comfortable. Once we get comfortable we take our foot off the throttle and then we end up with their foot kicking us in the a**. We need to treat each game like a must win, and we need to maintain the intensity and want to in order to win.

 Please let us come out and take game 2 so talk like this can be hilarious in retrospect. "Lakers are going to bring it in game 2." *Get's curb-stomped again.*

I'll put it out there... this series is over. Don't matter in 4, 5, 6 or 7. We will wear them down.

I get it this team plays bad when they are overconfident.. but, they need to learn to play well when favored.

If we are serious about getting to the WCF, perform to your ability..

Ant potentially can take down KD, Jokic, LeBron, Luka, Curry, and JButler.. would have never thought that was a possibility a few years ago.

Lakers are going to make adjustments. Let's see if Twolves coaching staff could stay a step ahead of JJ. I feel we have a few levers that we could pull. Ant needs to keep playing smart and make the right passes. Randle continue to contain James. Everyone keep attacking Luka and Reaves. At some point, Gobert needs to be more of a factor at both ends.

Surprised lakers are currently favored 5.5 points. Started 6.5.. seems like lal fans just can't quite wrap their heads around the fact that they aren't that good/we are scary good.

-3 ok.. but -5.5? Would be great to tell ANT the Lakers are favored that much, lmao.

Vando used to be my one of my favorite players. But his recent acting has been close to disgusting.

All the pressure is clearly on the Lakers for Game 2. We should be able to play loose without sacrificing our sense of urgency and overall energy. I like our chances.

I think he's realizing that he's not gifted minutes on bad teams anymore. And his only path to playing time on a good team is as a goon.

For me, this may come down to how this game is called. Both Redick and the media brought up how "physical" the Wolves were over the weekend. Could easily seeing the Lakers benefitting from touch fouls.

I agree that we still need to play like we are the underdog, but that was a Wolves team that wasn't as good as we are now and a Memphis team that was better than this years LAL. Denver last year was also a much better team than this LAL team.

He seems to have picked up PatBev's antics while they were together

I've been starting to align myself with the viewpoint that the Lakers went so long without fouling anyone because they weren't even close enough to be called for a foul. The defense of their "Big 3" is laughably bad. Gobert had better defensive teammates in Utah, and that's saying a lot.
