Lost an entire day's worth of progress on Mandragora because of a bug. I will not be returning to it.

Funny enough, my RDR2 crashed after I completed a long mission (tons of horse riding, which is honestly annoying) and I thought it would've saved and it didn't. Lost my interest for now.

I need the Oblivion Remaster tomorrow like its rumored. I need it.

Bummed the rumors of today at 11 EST weren't true, but not surprised. Still super excited.

Fingers crossed this is a "and it's now available to play" sort of announcement.

First Berserker Kazan is very good. My only nitpick so far is the gank fights/lack of enemy variety is kinda annoying at times but all in all as a Soulslike fan it gets the job done.

I suppose we'll find out here in a moment but a lot of people seem to think this is getting shadow dropped.

LOL yup, launching today. Includes the DLC. Available on Game Pass.

Welp, found out where my free time is going for the next month. I never played the original Oblivion so I'm pretty excited.

While I wait for the download, I'll share some memories of it.

Leading up to the launch in March 2006. I couldn't drive yet. And I had preordered the game from Gamestop and couldn't wait to get it. My mom drove me and said she had to stop at the Target right next to it after we picked it up. I got the guide book to go with it, and then she ran into target. I was reading everything and couldn't wait to get home and fire it up. My mom said she'd be 15 minutes in and out. 15 goes by, then 30, then 60...what the ****? Do I go in and get her? I was stuck. After over an hour she finally comes back and I was dying. She "ran into someone" she knew and lost track of time.

For the next few years I played thousands and thousands of hours of the game. But most notably, my two good friends and I would have O parties. We would all bring our Xboxs, bring some TVs, and set them up in his basement. We'd stop at the gas station and get snacks and Amp Energy Drinks and would literally play all night till the sun came up. Core memory for me. Another friend who wasn't a game would come over every day in the summer. We'd sit in my basement and take 30 minutes turns playing. Order some pizza, and sits in the dark the entire day. Some call it a waste of a summer, I call it perfect.

It sounds stupid, but this game was a huge part of my youth. The memories, the fun, the time...seeing this come back to life might just be the kick in the pants I needed to find my love of gaming again. I'm so stoked. Download is at 90%, talk to you gents later.

Was in college when Oblivion came out and I had just bought a shiny new Xbox 360. Can't even begin to tell people how many classes I skipped and how badly my GPA suffered between this and Halo 3. Feels like I'm 19 all over again. Can't wait to get home and fire it up.

I've never owned a gaming system and know nothing about Oblivion and you guys have me wanting to buy an XBox and this game.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

The good news is you don't have to buy an Xbox to play it. Game Pass Ultimate is a legitimately solid service with hundreds of games, including Oblivion, and all you need is a controller and good internet.
