The negativity is significantly closer to the truth than the whole "There's nothing to see here folks, just move along, everything is fine" reality you have crafted for yourself.

I am just as sick of the Hornets stinking as anybody. We even have season tickets, lol!

But, I am willing to give these new guy's a legit chance to set things right before I presuppose that nothing will ever go our way.

That's even dumber than thinking everything will go perfectly.

Hell, I grew up as an Eagles fan and heard about how we had never and would never win a Super Bowl for over 40 years. Still believed they would break thru eventually. Well, the Eagles had a long term plan and gradually built a team that's won twice in the last decade.

It can happen here too.

Being a constant negative Nancy is a losers mentality and helps nothing and no one in any part of life. Everyone has bad days but living in that mindset is really pathetic and I feel sorry for anyone truly stuck on that.
Nowadays though, it's usually just sad trolling from those who feel a need for negative attention because they lack enough positive feedback in life. But hey, that's their prerogative and if they want to put that kind of energy out there for jollies, I will laugh at it unless they really do need some help and actually want to "be better". I would then be happy to take em to a game and buy them an overpriced beer and have a laugh about that too.

Getting Flagg or Harper would definitely accelerate the teams chances a lot so hopefully that happens.....we deserve a break from the lottery's hidden hand this time.

They don’t really deserve a break, they moved up for Brandon and LaMelo. This team should be even worse than it is now if they weren’t pretty lucky already. They should try making their own luck if they actually want to be different. Hiring a bunch of your old friends and shrugging your shoulders hoping for a top lottery pick to come save you is Hornets DNA.

Seriously, if you can’t handle people posting something that isn’t totally unjustified rah rah bull without short circuiting and writing some psychological analysis manifesto it’s just a personality flaw on your end.

Theres no doubt the team will be better because for one, it’s basically impossible to be worse than this past season, and it’s basically impossible to suck forever in an American sports league even though we are doing our best. They’ll be good one day, even by stumbling into it by pure luck. Doesn’t mean we can’t sit here and mock them doing dumb **** like chasing Landry Fields or getting voted the worst org in the league. They deserve that placement and they’d probably tell you the same thing

Guys this isn't gonna end well If it becomes personal. Totally fine for people to be completely frustrated and fed up with the franchise while other people Try to remain optimistic for whatever reasons. I think both are fair perspectives to have. Just make sure when you guys are arguing this stuff that it doesn't get personal. Anyway carry on...

And the Landry Fields mentioned was completely just a guess from plow that the Hornets might be interested. There's now actual link connecting us to him.

On a side note (sorry if this has already been mentioned) in a players pole 38 percent of players listed us as the worst run franchise in the league (easily first) and Charles Lee as the 4th worst coach at 8 percent.

This team went into the year with new management, multiple starters coming off major injuries, and an objective reason to tank and keep an almost-certain high lottery pick in a deep draft. They can talk sunshine and rainbows all they want but nothing is taking my eye off the salient facts. So the sunshine and rainbows talk means squat in my opinion.

Loser's mentality is intentionally tanking

Loser's mentality is being the worst team over the last 20 years

Loser's mentality is coming off a season where you have the second worst record and every GM and player around the league votes you as the worst franchise and your coach as the 4th worst... then go into the exit interviews preaching about the process.

Loser's mentality is coming to a year with one of the best young PGs, best young wings, and best young Centers in the league and treating it like Year One of some long term plan while they're all looking at each other like "what the **** have we being doing for the last few years?"

Loser's mentality is shutting down any effort before the All-Star Break

I will say that I have to applaud the massive amounts of whatever you're indulging in that helps create the delusion that they have done or shown anything that remotely warrants trust or faith

a **** cybertruck ffs

rushed to the hospital with serious injuries after crashing his Tesla Cybertruck early Thursday morning ... TMZ Sports has learned.

It's unclear what caused the wreck, but the luxury vehicle was completely mangled on the side of the road of a Los Angeles neighborhood based on images we have viewed.

We're told emergency responders raced to the scene at 4:55 AM -- after fire personnel responded to a "trapped patient" ... but when help arrived, everyone inside the vehicle had already made it out.

We're told the front of the car was ablaze ... and an approximately 18-year-old was taken to the hospital in "serious condition."

I wouldn't touch one of those things with a ten foot pole. As far as I can tell, they're rolling death lego's.

Pistons are fun, but you have to wonder outside of Cade what do they have from this team moving forward to get back to this point?

THJ and Beasley are hired guns, Tobias is on the way down, Duren is solid but not really the reason for them winning. Ivey has been hurt and missed being a part of this run. Holland and Ausar are fun and showing signs but again Idk if they are the main pieces that are propelling the Pistons run.

Yes, Pistons are treadmill, and don't have a 1st rounder in the 2025 draft (owed Minnesota).

But the soft underbelly of the East is doing nothing serious to challenge their position.

That's a team we could take out with modest moves and health.

Yeah the Pistons are having a cool season, but they feel extremely similar to our 2014 playoff team that signed one free agent and hired a new coach, had the exact right mix of players to gel and take advantage of a trash conference, but whose general lack of talent will eventually catch up to them.

I have my doubts on them re-capturing this magic next year with a combo of Malik Beasley, THJ, and Schroeder, kind of their equivalent to Josh McRoberts and whoever else we let go in 2014 to go chase Marvin Williams and Lance Stephenson. The three Pistons FAs are career underachievers, and I don't love the future prospects of Pistons handing them fat contracts either.

if the Pistons are just taking advantage of a trash conference, what exactly does that say about how far away this Charlotte team is?

our roster has been bombed by two separate terrorist GMs, so we are far away.

Good thing we have the trade assets to add another core piece, key backups to our injury prone cornerstone players (PG and C), and add depth. I just don't know that I trust Peterson to do it, Lee to coach it, or the players to stay healthy enough. (That's not to say we shouldn't try)

A big part of Detroit playing so well is Cade's rise to All-NBA level. They're a year or two behind where the Pacers are, also with an All-NBA level PG that isn't really a superstar.

We can do the same if Melo is healthy. So... yeah. It kinda sucks that we just have to hope for health more than anything.

With all due respect Melo is not that kind of player. Cade has real impact that translates to winning basketball.

All Melo has shown is he can get great stats in a losing effort. He's not even on the same level as a guy like Cade. We need more around Melo.

Last year under Borrego Lamelo looked like the player who could be that guy.

It was also the last time Charlotte were over 500 for the season. I know the play in beating was brutal, but everything has been ugly since then.
