We’re getting beat off the dribble all game without screens, but we never played Rollins who is our best at containing.

Re: PG Pacers - Bucks Down 2-0
If they don't clean house, or they do fire Doc but totally botch the coaching hire again, I might tap out tbh. I love Giannis but it brings me great pain watching this organization fail him repeatedly.
We have total clowns in the media tearing down Jokic's situation to prop him up, and I'm sitting here thinking I would kill to have a starting lineup that made as much sense around Giannis as Murray/Braun/MPJ/Gordon does around Jokic, and a coach as solid as Malone.
We're wasting a generationally amazing player and I'm not sure how much longer I want to watch it happen in real time.

I'd take 10mpg from Midds than 30mpg of Kuz.

Tempting to talk offseason but let’s see what happens Friday.
That said, it’s been clear the rest of the league has gotten far more athletic the past five years. We just don’t have any of those guys. Teams like Indy, Minny, etc. are just able to get to the ball faster.

This is why he was available for MarJon. Our team is relying on a lot of castoffs and has beens. Doesn’t absolve Doc, but the talent level on this team has gone down the drain.
The talent level is definitely not contender worthy, and the pacers might just be a better team overall, but being too stubborn and/or incompetent by playing a lineup that has a built in 10 point deficit is the main ingredient to the bucks being down 0-2. I think we’re 1-1 with a good coach and feeling good about winning the series.
I called KPJ coming back down to earth though. He’s not as bad as he was with the clippers but not anywhere as good as he was looking the last couple weeks.

Wild this is such an issue on a team with the Greek Freak.

Not absolving Doc and his dream team staff of former head coaches. He’s a mess.

In 2025, an NBA team in the playoffs played meaningful minutes without either of their two best players on the floor.
In 2025 in the NBA playoffs, a team started three players who's best position is power forward, and one player who can only play center.
The opposing team started three guards.
The coach is surprised the Bucks struggled at preventing dribble penetration.
In 2025 in the NBA playoffs, the Bucks played a career playoff .457 EFG guy and the coach thought the best thing the team could do was to run back to back plays for him to start the game.

Re: PG Pacers - Bucks Down 2-0
This game was two things…
1)trotting out the starting lineup that digs a 10+ point hole
2)turnovers
Fix one of those two, and we have homecourt. #1 was an easy fix. #2 was probably a result of #1. Doc is an idiot.

I didn’t listen/watch/gag the Doc PG. I gather the gist is no changes for game 3?

Nuggets fired Malone. Otherwise agree, I'm already there this year. Happy I couldn't catch this one.

If someone defends TP, Brook, or Dame, I'll disagree with them too.
Brook helped us win a lot more games this year than Khris, who you called as deserving more money from us than Brook. Just a reminder you don’t have all the right takes.
I don't care about the regular season. Brook is consistently a playoff liability, Khris is a playoff assassin.

Kuz gets lucky on some out of control layups in the third quarter so he gets to be in the closing lineup to kill the spacing, blow assignments on D, and get smoked on the drive by all of the Pacers guards.
I don’t think Doc understands why KPJ/AJG/GTJ/BP/GA works so well is the spacing around Giannis. With Dame back, you can use him in there as another option. Kuz is unplayable with Giannis because he can’t shoot and isn’t a lob threat. He’s Gadzuric with a slightly better dribbling skill and less dunking ability, that’s it.

KPJ was a disaster in the 1st half, but was really good in the 4th, and should have played more.

Yes there's a ton of other **** purely on the players, but the coach has low hanging fruit just waiting to be picked and refuses. Basic stuff that 28 other coaches do from the jump.
Is his whole staff brain dead like him or are they all just yes men?

Somehow the flagrant hit him benched while Kuz gets to stay out there when the entire Pacers team was breaking his ankles on every drive.

League got faster, more athletic, and all about spacing. Doc starts the least athletic guys around Giannis with a horrible floor spacer and two guys the Pacers are happy to let hoist threes from above the break.
But sure, if we get Kuz some more touches, that should fix everything.
I’m rooting for a sweep as that’s the best chance Doc is canned.
