We definitely need a boost there, but the Cavs are a good example of this.
Cleveland got Sam Merril after he bounced around the league and turned him into a vital role player last year which he’s continued to be this year. Cleveland also found Ty Jerome, who bounced around the league in a bit role, and has exploded for them this year. He’s putting up 12ppg in slightly under 20mpg.
Diamonds can be unearthed, but it’ll take the proper GM and coach to get us there. I think Rollins could be one of those dudes for us moving forward, but we’ll need the proper coach to put him in positions to succeed.
This is very true but the Cavaliers have an extremely talented and well rounded starting 5 that are all concievably still getting better.
The Bucks are in an entirely different position. We NEED to find several diamonds in the rough because our top of the roster talent level after Giannis is lacking and we have no other avenues to acquire players.
Fully agree coaching and GM are a massive issue but a Sam Merrill or a Ty Jerome does nothing for the trajectory of this team.
