I would say kuminga should just start throwing the game for what Kerr has done to him, but I'm not sure how it would look different than this game.

That Jabari Smith Jr. jumper was a huge shot because Warriors were building momentum.

Two things seem somehow simultaneously true:

1) Fred VanVleet takes terrible shots and doesn’t make enough of them.
2) Fred VanVleet makes the Rockets much better.

I think this is mostly his being ~ a coach on the floor and will become less essential as the Rockets young talent get more experience. I think Sheppard is clearly intended to eventually assume his role, but with a way higher upside.

I think it is just the fact that he is the only PG in the line up. That stretch where he was out was mostly awful to watch. Or at least the games I tuned into.

He takes some garbage-butt jumpers but he is also the only guy they can trust to settle things down.

Agreed, though the offensive uptick in the second half was partially double bigs, partially Green bringing the ball up more/playing with other athletes so he could get out and run more. His handle needs tightening a bit if he’s going to do that regularly, and either way I agree FVV is their only true pg*. And to be fair, he and Green are given more than their share of hand grenade passes as the clock ticks out, which will obviously be a drag on your efficiency.

*I could be argued into Reed as another, but a rookie who barely sees the floor doesn’t seem too relevant.

Fred isn't an efficient shooter, but he doesn't turn the ball over, is a great defender, and is just a steady presence.

I am also fairly certain he is vocalizing people offensively and defensively on where to move, quarerbacking if you will.

Cheating refs finally calling fouls for steph, now that they are sure warriors are not coming back. With so many one sided blowout series, nba wanted to make sure warriors lose this one. Exp know when to call the fouls, will again swallow the whistle if warriors miraculously get close.
