Tomorrow is exactly the "two weeks" that Ivey was supposed to be reevaluated from his previous return to basketball activity.... I'm guessing they might push it back a day so its not done on a game day though.

Probably not in game-shape, and he'll have to play 5-on-5 for a little bit before playing on the court... If we're down guys, I'd put him in, but only if we're not healthy. Not sure he can do what Stew does. I really hope he's healthy enough to go tomorrow night. He played his ass off all year.

This is a huge game, for both teams. It'll be really interesting to see what adjustments Thibs makes. What the Knicks are doing, isn't working. They are one 4th quarter run, keeping them from being down 0-2.

I'm also going to be interested to see how the Pistons handle a lead(if they get one like in the previous 2 games)this time. If THJ or Beasley had hit ANY of their shots in game 2, the Pistons lead would have ballooned into the twenties. It was insane how many wide open shots Cade generated in game 2, for both guys to miss everything. Rewatching that game was an exercise in frustration. Jitters obviously got to the guys in game 1 during the 4th quarter. Game 2 was bizarre. The Knicks defense is not that great this year, and they got lost repeatedly on screens, leaving Beasley open several times.

The "others" as Shaq calls them, usually play better at home, so here's to hoping they both find their shot tonight.

Also, is anyone else kind of amazed at how well Tobias is playing? Anyone else worried about him falling off in game 3?

In all fairness though, the Knicks got nothing from KAT in the 2nd half and they were tied up (94 all?) with a minute to go. I think its safe to say the Knicks weren't far off from being up 2-0 either. If Schroeder misses that late 3 the game could have easily gone to the Knicks and Dennis is only making 1 of 3 of those on average (30.2% with the Pistons this season from deep).

Yeah the 4th qtr collapse was real again in game 2 but that Schroder 3 saved us.

I guess thats more of a glass half full/empty argument. One thing that cannot be argued, is that the Pistons have created leads, and keep losing them. They have controlled large chunks of each game, only to collapse, which leads to reinforcing my belief that the Pistons, overall, are a better team.

I keep seeing the narrative that the "Knicks have far more talent, they are losing because of Thibs." I said before the series started, that the Knicks have far more mature, established talent, and experience to go with it.

It's not like the Pistons are Cade+scrubs. We've all seen that horror show.

The Pistons have controlled this series, based on their massive edge in athleticism, which cannot be overstated, physicality, which has wilted the Knicks on numerous occasions, even getting into Brunsons head with him counting Ausars fouls, and, the double edged sword, youth. They are running the Knicks on every, available, opportunity, and its starting to show.

This series is starting to prove out, that the Pistons were a legitimately good team after Jan 1st, better then the Knicks.

Now, even with all that said, im still picking the Knicks to win tonight, and the series. Experience is a HUGE factor, and young, up and coming teams, always take their lumps in the playoffs. I've mentioned last year as the team taking their lumps already, but, we'll see.
