I’m just praying something will click for this team that can unlock our true potential. Whether that’s finding the right starting line up or a better rotation/ core group of guys. If that happens and we win these 2 games, I’ll be optimistic about our chances these playoffs.

If we stumble ass backwards into a close win without any clear reasoning behind adjustments or we lose either one of these games.. I’d say we’re done.

The true potential is only unlocked by completely benching Prince/Kuz/Brook, rolling with an eight man rotation of Dame/KOJ/GTJ/AGJ/GA/Bibby/Sims/Rollins, and using AJJ and Pat for any spot minutes if needed.

Zero chance Doc does that. This team is losing in four or five if they keep insisting on playing Prince/Kuz/Brook. It’s too much of a hurdle to overcome the Pacers getting layups and open threes because of those guys and knowing they can ignore those guys on D to throw bodies between Giannis and the rim.

Yea I agree that would be the move, but won’t happen. Just blows my mind we got rid of bud because he didn’t make playoff adjustments and somehow ended up with a worse version who also doesn’t make playoff adjustments

Doc is not changing anything he will start prince and kuzma till we get knocked out of the playoffs. Carlisle is laughing inside like we don’t have to guard Giannis Dame two man game much because Doc is the coach. Now if Carlisle was coaching this team he would have ran it so much it would be second nature to those two well and prince and kuzma would be on the bench lol

If Prince and Kuzma start the only two adjustments that can/should be made is a different zone than the 2‐3 to throw off Indy and playing Kuzma on Turner. Let Prince and Kuzma trap, switch the 1/5 PnR, or hedge and recover. Let Lopez cover someone who is not their best ball handler or their best shooter.
I would sub Lopez out early to get him playing against their 2s and use him as a roller and not a pick and pop guy.

We were warned. I hated the hire but thought removing Grief would be addition by subtraction regardless of who replaced him.

Turns out, Doc is quite possibly worse. It's a different flavor of bad, but it is foul.

We should win this one but, ugh, I don’t feel good about this team or this game. Part of me just wants it all over with so we can move on from Doc and try something new.
