These dudes are disrespectful but they failed to secure their home court so maybe they should focus more on hooping instead of being fake tough. The only one of them that's crazy enough to really do something is Stewart and he's out.

I think we need to come out in Game 4 looking to run them out of the building

who woulda thought our dawg would be kat?

NYC does strange things to a man. Some good. Not all like what’s happened to sham re: the investigation of the subway and a corpse and the fact that he takes that train route regularly

So what's the right play here? Throwing the ball into the backcourt, hoping JB can run down the clock and, if fouled, sink two free throws? Or passing to a wide-open OG under the basket for an easy two—which would likely leave a few seconds on the clock, but put us up by five? I personally think Bridges should have passed it to OG for the easy 2.

Well damn, didn’t even notice that.. good catch. Mikal botched that one big time. Hart should be the one making those passes

Thats what I thought

Mikal needs to improve his passing.

Again not to diss Mitch — couple steals and stuff but that layup attempt led to a dunk and was the right idea

Was a big bucket but shows that offense is important and not being sarcastic — decent miss, put pressure on the defense and caused a 2

It's pretty funny that the PIstons' whole mindset is that the Knicks are favored

We get the worst calls ever ... it's like upside down world

Were the Knicks not blown out at home in last year's G7? Just to take one example

I had hoped that Towns would get a way better whistle in the New York spotlight. Hasn't really come to pass, I never really felt the Knicks got the whistle you would think they would. If you look at a team like the Lakers, the Knicks are not even in the same stratosphere. (I actually don't feel the Lakers have had a crazy whistle this playoffs so far but in the past its been bonkers).
When luck shuts the door skill comes in through the window.

Yeah...It's bad...I've never seen anything like it...It makes me think the league is fixed...

That's a big step up from Mikal. Cade was hunting that matchup in game 2.

He was obviously being facetious.

Kat's slight smile was funny there too. OT, what a great jersey Kat was wearing, like a Knicks hockey sweater style shirt.

Looked like we switched Mikal onto Cade the last few possessions of the first half, maybe to keep OG from a late foul before half. It was a great change of pace, Mikal did very well.

OG can't stop him every time of course, he takes so many shots. But he makes him work hard for everything, and that wears on a player

We did. It was an active decision in game 3 because Thibs noticed Mikal was doing much better. Being able to use OG as a free safety for stretches is an incredible luxury, so I hope Mikal figured something out.

Those clips are very telling. The first one especially was a huge lost possession. Maybe Precious gets some of those with his mobility, even though Mitch is so big

Dude was out 10 months, and surmise that he's also playing more conservatively since we lack depth after him... But clips of the ball bouncing off his hands or him not boxing out for a rebound, tells me this is more about conditioning and rust than anything else. And still even at 65% his defensive impact is huge.

Kat foolishly came in that melee and shoved Reed back, getting a T he didn't need to get. He also, very early in the game, set a screen on a Piston where he got his forearm up around the head area, it wasn't called but could have been. He needs to be much more disciplined when the going gets physical. Not saying he's soft. He doesn't shy away but he does get foolish flailing fouls
