Fly that W!

These Cubbies look like World Series contenders.

They just keep stacking wins.

Another ho-hum victory over a top team in baseball. Guys this is starting to feel way too normal, yet I'm nervous about when we play the basement dwelling teams

Honestly the outlook really is that good. In hindsight I wish they would have gotten Chapman a year ago, or Bregman this year to play 3rd, but with where they're at now, it didn't hurt them to be patient.

Hopefully things click for Shaw when he inevitably returns to the majors, and we can solidify the rotation with an ace. I'm not even sure if I'm that worried about the bullpen... playing top teams might have had something to do with their struggles

It feels weird saying it but you can’t watch them and not see it. All the stats are projecting it too.

It basically comes down to King Tuck, Busch, and PCA all taking a big step fwd.

Hope Shaw will be back but I’m not worried about him. He’s a gamer. He will get better and his D at 3B will play and his speed. Bat will come probably be below avg when he returns and solid next season.

Horton will be up at some point. He looks like an ace.

The farm is loaded with blocked talent in Cassie Alcantara and Triantos. We can make a trade for a closer or ace too. Porter Hodge looks like our closer though. He’s a stud.

So when will Mo get his cup of coffee in the show?

Probably not until an injury.

Think he’s the best bat behind King Tuck in the whole org. He can flat out hit.

No with two bombs… when is this kid going to come up. He’s incredible.

Shaw with 3 more hits. Hope he keeps this up for another dozen games and then he will be called back up.

Cubs with 4 more HR's today. And another strong start by Colin Rea. That's good to see- they need someone to step up with Steele gone. Cubs were 4th in the league in HR's going into today.

Dansby staring to come on strong!

Horton will probably be up in next month.

If Ben Brown doesn’t dial it in he will be in the bullpen.

Cubs getting off to a great start in their series with the Brewers- 8-0 in the second courtesy of a grand slam by Busch.

Man imagine how crazy this lineup would be with Bregman at 3B.

How many 30 HR hitters will the Cubs have this year? 6?

Don't count out Shaw yet. PCA didn't start playing well until his second call up. I believe Shaw will figure it out.
