He was legit amazing, hope it isn't forgotten by most because his minutes got limited by a weird foul call and then the injury.

Also rimmed out on all or most of his 3s, if one of those could have dropped would have been even nicer, but we won... I will take that outcome.
He missed a put back slam that would've made the highlights.

KCP at $22m is a bigger bust than Jett at #11…I’ve been backing the guy (not the acquisition) and patient with his awful shooting for 3/4 of the season but it was based in part on some assumption of visible leadership and delivering in big moments with champion poise….nope.
I know his defense is good, buts it not more than good…Gary has actually looked very solid defensively with the same lack of offense, but at 1/3 of the price (and he’s overpaid too at 7.5m). I just hope KCP & his big contract are part of a package…he’s really been irrelevant.

Wendell is winning me back but only as a limited minutes backup at 4/5. He’s really fighting in there. I’d really like a bigger, more imposing C who will protect the rim and rebound every night like WCJ has been doing lately.

I don’t know what to make of Isaac…great defensive minutes, but not sure where he’s headed, position-wise…I like him as a twitchy wing, disrupting on the perimeter, switching on ANYBODY, stocks for days…he’s so long, but he gets pushed around when he tries to box out, pretty ineffective rebounder too…lots of taps, etc and good effort, but that’s just not something he’s good at.

Franz is close…I just hope he can get that hitch out of his shot this summer…he’s really really good in every aspect. We should definitely have two All-Stars next year.

Wouldn’t a quick-release bomber like Simons have been nice? Just the threat alone…

Paolo is a straight-up perennial All-Star. I haven’t seen box score, but think how many more points he’d stop leaving on the table if he got his FT% up to 90%

Hope AB’s okay…just looked like a twist to me…he’s been great. Playing with confidence and poise. Many of us wished he’d gotten more playoff time last year- just for his growth. He showed that he can handle big moments. He’s already better on both ends than KCP.

A strong PG is so important…all CoJo & Cole did was fight through the press, get it over half-court, and hand it to Paolo…would be nice to have one

KCP and Harris are useless. Cole is practically unplayable. But yea…Let’s run it back. I like running head first into brick walls…

Paolo had a 32 point, 9 rebound, 7 assist, 2 blocks and 0 turnovers in game 2. What exactly are these stats? They are so random.

A single play of the game that stands out to me is Harris stripping Pritchard under the basket towards the end of the 4th. For some reason that play felt momentous and still impresses me

What a thriller. Seeing our duo lead the team to victory pretty much by themselves was something. Aside from some decent minutes from AB and second-half Wendell, rest of the roster can just be recycled. My God KCP is awful. What a complete disaster and awful signing. Cannot wait fast enough to ship him out for anything. Hopefully, some contender wants him.

I had us winning one game at home and that might have been it. Cs had multiple chance to win it. I don't expect same outcome Sunday. Still it has been a hell of a ride. OVerall, this is great experience for our young duo. The future is bright.

We weren't even favored in this game, close or not doesn't matter, especially being down 10 at half. Yes we took a lead in the 4th but they're one of the most prolific 3 point shooting teams ever

Harris defense was great. Beats players to their spots.... And he holds his ground with disruptive hands. Yup.... I cheered at that point too.

One extremely important thing this season has done is confirm that Paolo and Franz are franchise players.

Return to Orlando Magic
