Yup. Now you throw in the circus that follows him, do you really want to take that on for a guy you don’t view as your franchise guy? The off field stuff becomes a bigger question mark when you’re now being viewed as a backup QB.

Also Sanders got horrific advice from the people around him. Sitting out the combine and Senior Bowl like he was some guaranteed top 10 pick.

He was clearly poorly advised.

You can have a bad interview, but you can't have a series of really bad interviews that causes teams to take you off their boards. Dion lashed out publicly at the Browns before tonight and they passed on his son 4 more times.

Assuming he could actually be a decent QB in the NFL, going undrafted would be better for him than getting drafted in the later rounds.

He'd have a say in where he goes and become an RFA after 3 seasons.

I still think if they were going to take a QB (it is possible) it will be Quinn Ewers. He played his HS ball at Southlake, TX and they played in Jerry’s stadium often. Then playing at Texas, he’s played in Jerry’s stadium. Ewers and his family are likely friends of Jerry at this point.

Raiders not drafting him despite Tom Brady working with him closely and training with him and all speaks kinda volumes tbh. And they didnt just pass on him once, they’ve passed on him like 4 times at this point lmfao.
