It's not just me. This article sums it up pretty well. He's an old player who needs development with a play style that rarely works in the NFL. Teams who chase Deebo 2.0 have all failed to this point and I don't think Savion is the exception to that rule. He screams Lavishka Shenault to me

I don’t love that he wasn’t super productive in college and that he’s older, but he looks fun. And while I agree, teams that generally look for a Deebo fail, I trust MLF to put Williams in positions to use his skillset well

Littlecleo disagrees with your board and had him as a tier 1 player

Savion is twice the athlete Laviska was in fairness. And while chasing a Deeboo type might not have worked for Doug Marrone and the Jaguars, I'd feel better about our chances with MLF integrating him into the offense much better than Laviska was used. Hell, he turned Tyler Ervin in to a weapon for a season.

This guy is 4 inches taller and 10 lbs heavier than Deebo. Just because they may want to hand the ball off to him on occasion doesn't mean they think he is the next Deebo.

With his size, and the way he runs away from people in his highlights makes me think he's more likely to be Watson's replacement if anything.

The Packers office of player personnel sees it differently.

That'd be basically the exact opposite of how he was used in college.

Ya, I don’t see Williams running many go-routes.

I'm not sure they care all that much where he was used in college if they have a vision for him. All about projecting what he can do in the NFL. I think they look at him as a WR first with the ability to create mismatches on offense using his versatility.

Also, if you have a board and aren't like Mel Kiper or Field Yates, you are a total dork.

LOL .Huge Pack fan but drafting hasn't been great for us. Always reaching. This year it seems different. Can't worry about if someone will like it here.

Wasnt expecting a deebo-esque guy to be 6’4 220. Excited to see how he’s used.

Could be dangerous in some 02/01/00 packages where you shift him into the backfield and tell a CB good luck.

I think in two years this guy will either be Deebo/Cordarelle Patterson or Amari Rodgers 2.0.

We shall see.

Amari was a poor athlete in comparison, this guy is at least in a different league in size/speed. Even early atlanta version Patterson would be awesome.

Williams is twice as big as Amari Rodgers so he’s already ahead of that curve.
