I don’t think hurts (or others on the team) deserves that headache. I just don’t think it’s worth it.

The eagles have 3 Super Bowl appearances and 2 rings in the last 8 years and team chemistry is a big part of that. If the eagles are willing to draft shedeur then I think they also need to be very willing to cut him if/when he gets out of line and they need to tell him that up front.

Yeah, nobody wants this kind of distraction for a backup QB.

Yeah and I mean, the talent is there, but you know who else had talent? Carson Wentz. Shedeur to me seems like a worse version on and off the field as Carson wentz. And wentz wasn’t exactly the perfect role model on and off the field to say the least

Not a bad comp tbh. Wentz was way more mobile. But I can see it. Similar throwing motion. I’ll tell you this though (and Todd mcshay made this point also) they drafted a midget in Dillon Gabriel and shadeur clears him by 5 miles. Gabriel can throw the ball but it’s all short passes. Shadeur is the best deep ball thrower in this draft

More defense. Another LB wouldn't hurt.

If not why would they draft another 240 pound DE after watching how Parsons seems to wear down at times from leaning up against 320 pound tackles over and over . I thought they should have did that a long time ago . So I’m kind of being sarcastic about the pick only because I know Jerry isn’t smart enough to make a pre emptive pick like this knowing he was switching defenses . But it would have been awesome lol

Well Eberflus did come up under Bill Parcels and Wade Phillips so it would make sense that there would be some 3-4ish type plays mixed in to his playbook. You also can’t really have enough pass rushers. It will be interesting to see how he uses not only Micah and Eze but also Sam Williams and Fowler.

Per Skip Bayless, Tom Brady reportedly told the Raiders to NOT take Sanders.

That's certainly interesting.

Texans receiving corp is going to be crazy good. They got 2 of the best receivers in the draft to add to Nico Collins.

I could see Jerry doing that with Ewers but not Samders.

Damn. I was hoping the Cards would take him as he'd be a huge boost locally, not to mention being a solid man in the backfield.

Not like they didn't have a chance earlier or anything.

I read an article that said he took a personal face time call from someone during a team interview and completed the call...lol

He's basically the complete opposite of 'team first' and everything coaches are against. Hurts would be a good role model for him but I think he ends up Pittsburgh with Aaron Rodgers

Deion is one of the biggest Divas of all time but problem is, he’s also one of the best players of all time so teams were willing to put up with his ****. Shedeur is coming in already acting like deion, but he isn’t Deion..lol

I don’t blame teams for not wanting to be a part of that **** show. He hired a camera crew for draft day so is he creating like his own reality tv show? Not sure any team would be willing to do that. And Deion straight up saying he won’t let Shedeur go to certain teams? Yeah.. **** weird.. And this is the predraft process so this is them on their “best behavior”…lol

I also was thinking about whether or not I’d be willing to watch him develop on and off the field behind hurts but honestly I think they would be a huge cancer in the locker room so it’s not even worth it in my opinion. I say “they” because if you draft shedeur you also get deion.

The way Shedeur was acting (allegedly) it reminded me of Shaq and his kid. He said his son was telling people that he’s rich and Shaq corrected him. “You’re not rich, I’m rich”. Shedeur seems to think that because his dad was an elite of the elite type of player that he automatically is too. He needs to get over that fact f he wants to have any kind of success in the NFL.

Yea coming out and saying that there are certain teams he will ‘not allow” to draft his son. GFOH! No team wants to put up with that ****, especially not for a mid-QB.

I’m glad they went with BPA. They still desperately need a RB and WR.

Just imagine if Tank was/could stay healthy.

Still need a legit TE though, Schultz is not good.

No. He's a solid QB.

I think some team is going to draft him late, as a means of cheaping out on his salary. For all the talk about how good a player and prospect he is, you'd think someone would step up by now. Clearly there's a LOT of red flags outside his football ability.

The main reason he is falling now is because teams think having him as a backup would be a distraction.

I think there is a good chance the Steelers draft him. Even if they get Rodgers, they still need someone long term. And they have such a solid foundation, ownership group, coaching, that I don't think they'd allow it to be a big distraction as much as it might be for other teams if he wasn't starting.

Surprised they just went RB?
