I agree. I said it before, but I will say it again: Bam is not a franchise player.

He’s a good player. But if you were looking for a player to build your franchise around there’s plenth of other players.

I asked ChatGPT where it would rank Bam in the rankings of a player for a franchise over the next 10 years and it gave some good insight too.

Bam is probably in the 15–20 range for a 10-year outlook. He’s one of the best defenders in the league, super switchable, a great culture guy, and he’s just 27. But offensively he’s not a #1 or #2 option, and he may not age as gracefully as some perimeter stars.

Still: If I have a scoring guard or wing as my #1, Bam is exactly the kind of big I want next to them—smart, tough, selfless, and elite on D.

Yep Bosh was a number 2/3 never a truly capable number 1 if you are serious about winning a title.

I’m saying Bam isn’t a good player. I am saying he is not untradeable. The Heat aren’t going to get a franchise player next to Bam anytime soon. Butler was the guy to complement Bam. No one is lining up at the door to come here even if the team clears cap space.

This team aint it. A 10th seed that will be lucky to win one game in the first round of the playoffs.

As for your garbage comparison of Bosh to Bam. First of all, your fact that every Bosh Raptors team was a lotto team is incorrect, hence why I call this garbage. Second, you put a 2008 Bosh on this team and they easily go to at least the second round. Dude was a generational talent. Bam is a fringe all star talent.
