I'll be a little surprised if the Chargers don't take Miles Frazier or Marcus Mbow here.

Mel Kiper might suffer cardiac arrest today, man's going on a huge meltdown about the NFL and evaluating quarterbacks. Yes, Mel Kiper with a hard on for Jimmy Clausen is calling other people clueless.

Independent media has its flaws but the draft guys coming up today actually know the basics of evaluating NFL talent unlike Kiper, who is where he is because he was very influential on the draft becoming the event that it is today but has litte clue about actual player evaluation.

Gabriel was an odd pick. I'd be surprised if he was on many teams' boards before the 5th or 6th round.

Drop back 30 spots in the 5th and get a backup QB. Ill take it. I actually like Minny only having like 1 top 100 pick in the draft. Much less to worry about Kwesi screwing up an entire draft.

With that said, Id prefer Milroe/Ewers over Howell haha.

Howell was awful here. He had a really bad training camp. Then played like **** against Green Bay.

He might only be a camp body for them. But I guess it's worth a shot.

I like the Giants draft. Best pass rusher, 2nd best QB and maybe 3rd best RB.

If he's starting games for you, then it's pretty bleak. It's why Washington ended up with Jayden (2nd pick). I wouldn't get too hyped over him.

Agreed. I’m just saying he has some experience, a season of being a full-time starter.

Like I said in another post, I think he’s just a younger Nick Mullens. Between Mullens, Darnold, and now Howell.

I think it’s pretty clear what kind of backup QB KOC likes. He likes these gun slinging types that he probably thinks he can correct some of the negative aspects.

It's also risky for locker room morale but at least Shedeur has a higher talent-to-hype ratio than Manziel.

I am hoping these past few days have been enough of a humbling for him to understand he needs to earn his position in the league and the team, and not get in on pure nepotism and yelling legendary a bunch of times. If he stays away from rape allegations, from cocaine and the parties, that's already an improvement on our previous QB experiments.

Well it’s no chance of any of that happening in Cleveland for sure other than the rape thing which he should stand clear from certain circumstances and situations with these gold digger chicks looking for a quick come up

They didn't take him (or Frazier who I thought was a higher possibility due to size) and took a 2nd WR then traded up and took a TE.

Surprising but I like that Joe Hortiz and Jim Harbaugh who are all about controlling the line and a power game have taken 2 WRs, a TE and a RB.

Herbert did get sacked a lot but that's in large part because their receivers couldn't get open with the exception of McConkey, so they'd double him.

Now they have him, Mike Williams, Tre Harris, KeAndre Lambert-Smith and Oronde Gadsden II (who is kind of a hybrid big WR/TE)

Herbert should light it up. Their biggest FA signing was Becton a guard, and they got Joe Alt last year and have a pro bowl tackle on the other side in Slater. Their line is a lot better than a couple years ago but they could grab another guard or even a C.

But I think their offense will be a lot better this year.

I want a starting C for the chargers, idk why he brought back Bozeman after he was awful and then a guy from the raiders who was terrible for them.

They need to cut short the time between picks more when it’s in 6th round.

No. He's a solid QB.
I think some team is going to draft him late, as a means of cheaping out on his salary. For all the talk about how good a player and prospect he is, you'd think someone would step up by now. Clearly there's a LOT of red flags outside his football ability.

The main reason he is falling now is because teams think having him as a backup would be a distraction.

I think there is a good chance the Steelers draft him. Even if they get Rodgers, they still need someone long term. And they have such a solid foundation, ownership group, coaching, that I don't think they'd allow it to be a big distraction as much as it might be for other teams if he wasn't starting.

After Antonio Brown, Chase Claypool and now George Pickens, there was a report that Mike Tomlin told the Steelers FO he’s done dealing with diva players and that he’ll retire if they get him another one.

That’s why mocks having Sanders drafted by Steelers never made sense to me.

I think Raiders would’ve drafted Sanders if Antonio Pierce was still HC. Pete Carroll just isn’t the type of guy gonna deal with all that, he’s too old for all that flash now.
