The worst thing for Clippers is that its not just about this series.
Clippers hd great opportunity to kick Nuggets asses again, demoralize them and mybe finish in 5 and take on OKC rested.
How they filed to execute it and maybe even recognize it, is mind blowing.
With their age and injury history even if they win over Nuggets in 7, OKC will beat them on pure energy.

I see what Denver's trying to do. End the game early in the 4th and pull the starters early for rest for the next game. That was Phil Jackson's philosophy with his veteran Bulls teams

Malone has done this many times, and I've never seen it work. The other teams makes a run, and then he gets stuck playing Jokic for the entire second half, and Jokic doesn't have the energy to finish the other team off at the end.

Granted, Malone does it in tight games: when you're up 20 to start the fourth, your odds are good no matter what you do. Especially if the officiating is leaning your way.

I’m basically at the point where I think you can hand Jokic a roster that doesn’t have a single starter for another team and zero coaching staff. And that team would still make the playoffs every year

I posted this before but this is mindboggling. Denver, outside of the Gordon move which did impress me, has done nothing of note with this historic player.

The management we're seeing here is historically bad. Even average management, with Jokic would lead to a team as good as the Cavs.
