based on what though? for 3/4 games the clippers offense has been nasty. It's going to be another battle to the end like game 1/2/4

Everybody in here seems so sure about whether the bucket should count or not but I’m still yet to see any actual reference from the rule book so I’m confused

That was a foul and a flop. Both can be true.

So you want to tell me if he didn't flop they wouldn't call a clear foul?

He wasn't shooting when the buzzer sounded. The basket was already made.

What's the official definition of a made bucket?

A legal field goal or free throw attempt shall be scored when a ball from the playing area enters the basket from above and remains in or passes through the net.

You know that’s how every dunk ever is right?

Question of hand on ball is completely relevant to the time.

I quoted the wrong post, I was responding to this below.

I didn’t say any of that. What I said was that it was a clear foul and a clear flop he literally left his feet for no reason lol

I couldn’t find anything but the only reasonable answer is the ball has to leave your hand or it is not a shot yet as the ball is still part of you meaning it is not a FGA until released. If your hand is still on it and through the basket as the timer runs out it is yet to be a shot.

This is just the best I can come up with and as far as I know not an official rule as of yet. So this call in question is about whether or not his hand is still on the ball at the time of the buzzer and I’m not even sure if it was

I don’t know now either of these teams win more than 1 game against OKC at this rate. At least this series is fun.

This isn't mentioned in the rule book. Considering the ball is through the basket, I think its clearly a made basket.

he's a three time MVP, Finals MVP, and has other numerous accomplishments. How can anyone question him? People just love to hate on everything.

That “he never beat a 50 win team” narrative has been gaining lots of steam as of late smh

How about never playing with an allstar?

I'm as big Murray supporter as there is on RealGm but it's just not looking good for him going forward. Not just this series but for the remainder of his career.

He can't seem to beat defenders off the dribble or even get separation from them. If his jumper isn't falling he's completely nullified.

Thats not even the worst. If he could accept what he can and cant do, and focus on scoring and shooting off catch and shoot, he'd still be valuable (its laughable though that certain posters try to paint him as an allstar). The problem is he is so stubborn and more occupied to prove something (see him attacking Zubac 5x in the first quarter) that he seriously hurts the team. I was honestly hoping he would get benched after the three turnovers while bringing the ball up.

That’s confusing to me though. Is the basket not good until it passes through the net? If that’s the case, Gordon touching the ball even after it passed the rim but not the net yet could mean basket no good.
