All the trolls out on Twitter talking about “how does Bron lose with Luka sick while Curry wins even with Butler completely out and not playing” like there isn’t a mountain of difference between the Wolves and Rockets

Like I said in the other thread, I take rookie Curry before rookie Lebron and I never look back.

Curry is incredible. What a game tonight.

The news here is why you still use Elon’s cesspool app.

Sengun never punished that lineup in the paint. Kind of embarrassing.

I think he needs to fight much harder for deep post position
He doesn’t survive 3 dribbles the way they zone up on him. Has to be more efficient and decisive with the ball.

Totally agree. Too much dancing.

If the Wolves lose their series and decide to finally give up on the Rudy Gobert experiment, he would make some sense on the Rockets next to Sengun.

Because Shams Charania, Marc Stein, Zach Lowe etc all still use it and it’s still a good source for basketball content.

People were saying HOU with all their athleticism can upset OKC but it turned out they are just a regular season team.

The faster you realize the 2 bigs setup does not work, the better for your team. This is the modern NBA, that’s not going to work in the playoffs, long-term.

Jalen Green really is something else. Gives you All-NBA (1/4th of time) or G-League (3/4th of time) and barely anything in-between.

Honestly didn't get why so many people picked Houston.

They had a good regular season but have no playoff experience at all. And the Warriors have a ton of it.

They also have no offensive star to carry them especially in the 4th Quarter. You simply need that guy in the playoffs.

Were we really supposed to think it could be Jalen Green?

If they caught Memphis they could have advanced. But asking them to beat this tested Warriors team is too much.

If I'm Houston I'm looking to upgrade to an offensive star in the off season. Whether it be Giannis, Devin Booker or Durant. Somebody that can take this awesome core to the next level.

Ya the Wolves actually look like they know how to play basketball to start lol. Rockets are the classic young squad that plays harder than everyone during the regular season but can’t match up with the vets during the playoffs.

Too lazy to look up the year but the Brooks/Ja/JJJ/Bane Grizz that got stomped as the 2 seed against the Lakers are the absolute perfect example.

Jabari the only Rocket who showed up tonight, of course Ime didn't play him that much so he can keep his sons Amen and FVV in the game to make sure they get a loss.

Nothing egregious in Udoka's coaching tonight. I felt Thompson wasn't being as effective as you'd like, and he could've played a bit less for Eason, maybe JSJ.

I mean, why is Amen still starting instead of Jabari? Seems like Jabari would be a much better fit with the starting lineup given that he's probably the best shooter on the team. Amen and Sengun and FVV starting and streaky Jalen, that's way too many non shooters

I doubt amen has the playmaking of prime Simmons. He's ridiculously athletic and can handle the ball. He has no idea of what he's doing on offense.

If he doesn't develop his offensive game he'll be a 15-20 minute player.

You're gonna look really dumb calling him Vanderbilt in the future, just saying. Maybe stop overreacting to single games or series so much?

Oh he already looks dumb  but to be fair after games like today Amen didn't help him self much. Amen played like trash tonight. Needs to wake up.

Jalen Green on Draymond: "Just talking. He can't really do much of anything else, so talking is his only way."

It's not just bball IQ is it?

He's actually, really, legitimately stupid.

I guess that is why everyone wanted to play the rockets in the first round. The way Warriors pressured the ball handler in pick and roll you have to finish in the paint with all that space. Sengun missed a few but my god Thompson couldn’t hit the ocean from there and warriors dared him to shoot it all game. How do you fix that if you are udoka? Just pray that he makes them next game?

Another thing that impressed me from warriors is rebounding. Post didn’t do much offensively but he rebounded the ball, Steph almost had a triple double. I guess some of it is just will/home crowd but post guarding Thompson and allowing him so much space to shoot his bricks helped a lot too

shi-woo wrote:This thread is trash man...so much hate for the Rockets, didn't know they were in peoples heads like that.

First off, Steph really is a GOAT, the guy needs the entire team defending him, and he always makes the right read. The execution in the 4 quarter by him and green was absurd. His ability to play off ball is almost unfair, and what separates him from any other star i've ever watched.

Steph was the show tonight but everyone else on the team outside of Kuminga played well. GP2 is incredible on defense and hit some amazing shots. Hield did his best Klay impression, and Post gave them solid minutes. I liked the fire he played with tonight, he wasn't scared even if he was trying to hard at times, but I knew Kerr was feeling it because he didn't take him out when he heat checked a 3

Green, for all the hate we give him, has an incredible bball iq on BOTH sides of the ball. He's a basketball savant really, and it showed this game on both ends. Dude was just the connector on every play it seemed.

HOU shouldn't be getting the flack yall are giving them. They are young, this board does it every year, over hyping young teams that over acheive, and then get upset when a vet team with better players wins.

I get not liking the young guys, but literally no one on this team can shoot...Brooks is their best shooter, and he's been known to be a bad shooter for most of his career. We won't know how good any of these guys really are on that end until we see them play with actual NBA space. Rockets got swarmed tonight, and Amen was dared to shoot even ft line jumpers...So how can we expect Green and Sengun to excel in that sort of environment?

I still don't know what to make of Green though. He is fluid with the ball, and clearly has skills. Sometimes when you squint you can see Ant on offense. This guy just always seems like he's one braincell clicking in his head correctly to finally getting it, but idk. He could ultimately just be a guy that would excel as a 6th man type like Simons, Sexton, Clarkson, Poole, ect.

To me, he's the one that has to go if trades and moves are to be made.

Sengun/Jabari/Amen/Reed that's my coor, and i'm looking for a legit guard that can carry an offense. Fred has overstayed his welcome, and is just holding dudes back at this point.

Most Rockets fans thought they’d easily dominate the series before falling in Game 1. Then after winning Game 2, when Jimmy was hurt, they acted that the series is over already.

Reality bites after this sorry G3 effort.

Which Rocket fans? lol most that I've seen have said all along that golden state was a horrible matchup from the get-go and has their number.
