We had a coach who's considered a genius and the players didn't want him.

In this day and age of NBA basketball, the players decide who coaches them.

I also want a deeper rotation, but apparently the Jays want to play heavy minutes.

Going deeper into the bench would mean less playing time for White, Jrue, and KP.

Those 3 starters are already sacrificing by getting less shot attempts.

So if you also lessen their minutes, they would surely complain.

The price to pay for having 2 star players and 3 all-star caliber players as your top 5.

White, Jrue and KP are pretty much maxxed out when it comes to contracts. KP may get one more mini deal. White is 35 when his is up and Jrue is done making money. White seems like a guy who doesn’t let anything bother him. It’s like he’s playing like he has house money.

IMO, they can sacrifice. That’s when they need to be told, “this may be for the betterment of the team”.

Pretty sure DW is only 30.

I’m piggybacking on when you said they don’t like him. Fans pay to see the players play not to watch the coach coach.

I like Joe. I’ve been advocating that he use a deeper rotation so guys will be better prepared. That’s my main complaint.

Don't know about that because both KP and Jrue are used to playing a lot with their previous teams.

I think it's a fair trade, less shot attempts, but still significant playing time.

This setup may change if the Cs make roster changes after the season.

So we'll see what happens next season.

The Magic offense is mediocre.

So letting them get offensive rebounds will be a big boost to their offense.

This game the Cs allowed the Magic to get 15 offensive rebounds.

That's one of the reasons why the Cs lost this game.

I think it has nothing to do with basketball.

They just don't like the guy.

Celtics have been one of the top offenses and defenses under Joe, but some fans think it's all because of the talent.

Like I said, if it's just about talent then the Suns should be one of the top seeds in the west.

It’s just weird to me because in his second season he coached this team to a 16-3 record in the post season last season to win our first championship in 16 years. He’s coached the team to back to back 60 win seasons.

I don’t know if it’s just me but there’s 3 or 4 members that I only seem to see after a loss that go on to put all the blame on the coach.

It will certainly be interesting to see the opinions of some if we win it again this year.
