Payne couldn't bring the ball up against Schroder under pressure.

I think Schroder is likely to get a bigger contract than the minimum in the offseason with how he has looked in the playoffs.

He might actually be a great addition for the Knicks in the summer.

I handed in my Minutes Police badge a long time ago. But what I will say the 2 most disappointing people out there was Deuce and Thibs.

I will also say this team will never earn a W again if Mikal and OG shoot 6/26 & 2/10. Their defense was top notch, though.

I still proudly wear my badge as a prominent member of the force. Our job during the season was to enforce the law with a view to preserving the players for this very moment: the playoffs.

Still, we'd like to see the coach make better use of the bench vs a mid team like the Pistons. Need all hands on deck vs the Celtics.

Deuce played like absolute arse. We know Thibs -- as flawed as this coaching is -- if you ain't giving him a reason to keep you out there, you ain't playing. It says something when Payne has had more of an impact on the series then Deuce, who is playing nearly double the amount of minutes.

I don't think you realize how bad Deuce was today (and I guess all post-season).

Just to clarify; Thibs has to overcome how bad this bench is all season and its somehow even worse in the playoffs. This gets ignored by most fans

I have zero issues with the minutes. This is the playoffs and we are a top heavy team. My only concern is Deuce.

Also, Brunson did what he's supposed to do today. Get everyone going and then when it's time to carry the team, he did it.

Look at the expression of these 2 Detroit fans in the middle who bought the 2 worst tickets in the stadium after Kat hit that long 3 at the end of the 4th. Just crushed!!!!

I'll dump on Thibs all day long how he uses the bench, but Deuce is picking up where he left off in the Pacers series doesn't exactly give him confidence in the bench, either.

Wright was looking nice during the season. The coach should have been given him a look, especially with Deuce looking so bad

Precious has been mediocre but I'd like to see if he can give us anything with Mitch being "sick", lethargic, and missing a zillion FT's.

Thibs didn't do himself any favors by not developing bench cohesion from the get go. And let's be honest, if your name ain't Deuce and you're not playing a perfect game, you ain't seeing the floor.

Great finish almost erases the bad taste of the collapse from the last two minutes of the first half on.

I'm still leaning towards a new coach next year

Wright played well enough to remain apart of the rotation imo

Would have been a lot better on our nervous system and life expectancy to just blow em out. But to see the heart this team has to fight back and win that game. Legendary.

That's one of my favorite knick wins ever.

I would certainly give Wright another look. I'm not liking Deuce's minutes at all. I mean, he did a very bad gamble in the 4th that he was off by a mile on. I don't know how he has Thibs' trust so firmly.

And it was all Deuce’s points. I don’t enjoy Thibs’ offensive play calling (…if he does any.)

Is it really Thibs fault that the bench sucks ass? What is he supposed do? Move Bridges or OG to the bench so we have "bench points" on the boxscore lol?

I meant in general, very little play calling.

Hitting open shots does not require cohesion, if thats all they could do these games would be easy wins and a sweep. They have been terrible aside from Payne at the end of the 1st game. Deuce has been here 4 years he does not need developing, these excuses must stop.
