Enjoy Steph Curry while you can. The man is a marvel. I wish this team were good enough to win him a title.

Can't say this enough, and I think some of the younger fans here may be a bit spoiled if all they know is Steph. When he's done, you're never getting another one like him in this lifetime. Sure, the Warriors will eventually get another star, or maybe even superstar... but there will never ever be another Steph Curry.

Yeah I was pounding the table saying this earlier in the year when the team wasn't doing well and some people actually wanted to trade Steph! Unreal.

The "you're not getting another one" is what people are forgetting. The Niners have a 30 year championship drought after the glory years. The Warriors had 30+ year drought before Steph. I'm in the Steph Curry fan business, going to believe until he retires. There's no other way. The value in his final years > whatever potential you get from some draft picks (plus loyalty, man!!).

When he is gone we turn back into pumpkins.

He's kind of brickish on offense too. All that said, the dude must have an incredible motor.

I know its been said before, but very excited about Post's game. His playing style up till now has reminded me of a Klay Thompson mindset in a 7-foot body. Not too interested in banging with big bodies under the basket, didn't want to expend too much energy on the glass, more interested in hanging out at the 3-point line waiting for someone to pass him the ball. And not very good at driving to the rim once he got it; it was shoot a 3 or bust. But his effort on interior defense and rebounding were huge this game. 12 boards, including 3 on the offensive glass that resulted in 6 points thanks to 3's by Steph and Buddy. And Houston players only shot 6-16 when guarded by Post, including a dismal 33% from less than 10 feet. And he played this kind of effective defense without fouling out!

Just hoping that this signals actual development from Post and not just a one-off that won't be repeated. He's the only legit 7-footer we have and it was huge to have him truly acting like it in the paint. Not overly concerned that he only made one basket and missed all his 3's; his shooting stroke will return. We need him playing like a 7-footer the way he did last night going forward!

Post has very good form on his shot -- everyone has an off night now and then. His rebounding and D were excellent. I believe that his shot will return within a game or two, but he's already proving that he's a real NBA 5 in the making.

Steph and GP2 were the dynamic duo last night. I didn't think they would win Game 3 without Jimmy. GP2 and Buddy stepped up, as did everyone on D. Really do wish the rest of the roster could shoot better on a nightly basis. Hopefully Jimmy's back for Game 4.

Just wow. JK got another rebound last night. That makes 2 in 2 games with 38 minutes of playing time. And he's not even 23 years old yet. What effort. What a dawg.

He's doing everything possible to not get injured before entering free agency in the offseason. That, or he hasn't fully recovered from missing 60+ days for the ankle injury.

They are trying to injury Curry, and the Rockets really don't care if they win this series by knocking Curry out of it.

Since jk won't play, the latter is a moot point since gp2 is already hurt and can only shoot from the corners, at he best of times. moody or podz can def finish better, and have, at various points of their career. It would really help if dray can start making 3s again or finish inside but I'm losing hope. He had such a nice run, last year and the first half of this year, but his shot has vanished since the turn of the year.

What makes you think JK won't play?

I was trying to reverse jinx it for this game but was mostly talking about a warriors team with Jimmy where Kerr seems convinced jk won't fit. I think Kerr would play jk 30 minutes a night, warts and all, if only he could consistently shoot 36%+ from 3.

Last night, I was fairly disappointed by his play in the first half, but somewhat encouraged by how he played in the 3rd. Sounds like I'm alone in that. I'm not hoping he turns into Jalen Brown, but that he somehow starts playing like he did before he got hurt (more like gp2) or like when wigs was out (or long stretches of last year).

Not surprised gui is out of the rotation completely, his turnovers and fouls had stood out. I'd guess jk starts game 4 and pays a max of 15-20 min, unless it goes disasterously in his first shift and then he'll be out for good. If Jimmy is back, maybe jk gets the minutes gui used to get or Santos is back and we lose jk for the rest of the playoffs. He doesn't look right physically, especially finishing and rebounding, but not sure if that's the ankle or something else. Either way, I think his chance of meaningfully contributing to a real playoff run this is much higher than gui's, though still near zero.

I'm sure cdm is out there screaming this into the void but I think it's time to start buddy over moody. Less so for what hield had done but the fact that moody can't buy a shot. 9 of his last 32 from 3 in his last 7 games; 4/21 in 5 of them. Defense is solid and people close out but he can't attack off the dribble, even on a closeout, and might as well pair him with the defensive bench unit.
