I'm blessed and he misses his one shot and then gets sad that is not winning basketball.

Magic aren't double-teaming the Jays. That's the big difference. They're either switching (since they have the size) or putting one on JT and staying home on shooters.

We've had SO MANY games where opposing teams tried sending two on JT and paid dearly for it. Hauser's not getting open 'cos his defender's not leaving him. Our stars need to make them pay for single coverage. (Looking at you, KP.)

Wow, a single call by a referee on a replay right now may decide this series. And it is so close.

What a game. Lakers need more help. Wonder what team will gift them a star next.

A lot of nailbiters and spectacular finishes, this Playoffs/Play-In.

You are not wrong about that, but at the same time, we can also run Sam Hauser with some picking rolls. Or I have him come off a double screen. And yes, KP definitely needs to get it going otherwise no. Reason to double team anyone.

Lakers are old though especially their biggest star. They’re done winning ships for now. Golden state should be as well but the rockets have made them look all world.

KAT trade not looking so bad now, huh?

That's why I said the KAT trade will be decided by what NY and Minny do in the playoffs.

Lakers was the only team with a small chance to beat OKC, now it likely will be a cakewalk for them.

I think OKC would still be the heavy favorite but Minny certainly has a chance..

My issue with our mismatch-hunting offense is it can easily turn into stagnant, iso basketball where no one else touches the ball and there's very little movement on the court. I've said over and over that teams that can handle our stars with single coverage will give us the most issues. It happened in the 3rd Q of Game 3. And it kept happening vs. our matchups vs. OKC. To some extent, DET has had some success against us too.

Joe needs to have a plan B against these certain teams. Maybe let DWhite handle the ball more and put Jays offball (esp JB). I'm no coach, just a casual fan but that 3rd Q where we just use up the clock with very little going on was disgusting to watch.

Hauser got up 13 threes per 100 possessions this season. That was 15th in the league and for perspective the only guys above 14 are Curry, Beasley, Poole and Hield. How many more do you want him to jack up ? Not sure moving him from the team that takes the most three pointers in the league (Boston) to the team that takes the least (Denver) is going to have the effect you think it will on his numbers.

I don't consider anything in a regular season substantial. If you're trying to win a championship, it needs to happen now.
