It was clear after the Luka deal that the Lakers were short on size and depth, so a true title push was never in the cards.

And expecting a 40-year-old logging 46 minutes to single-handedly drag his team to victory—something none of his peers at that age have ever been asked to do—is simply unrealistic. But trolls will troll.

Not our fault he’s still stuck at 4 championships hence he still needs to play at 40.

Jordan wasn’t playing for anything anymore at that age, he already got not 1 but 2 three peats in his career, nothing left to prove at that point unlike Bron who surely wants one more.

This entire series wolves has had more freethrows and we've fouled more

They deserve to win the series but we heard RIGGED since tip off game 1. Now they're nowhere to be found. The one game we won probably 30 pages with people saying it's rigged.

The excuse doesnt matter. Lakers lost today because their stars have worse conditioning than their counterparts.

Yeah i dont know how you watch todays game and come away with Lebron and Luka being the problem. But whatever floats your goat.

ofc they were the problem. This is the playoffs and its a close game. Last game was tied with under 5 min as well

In both games, ANT was the best player on the floor and Minny won. If Luka or Lebron were the best, they'd be up 3-1 instead. The margins are that thin

Alright dude im too tired to give a crap.

Props to the Wolves. They looked like a .500 team dead in the water halfway through the season. They really turned their season around and have a legitimate superstar in Antman.

That is how always goes with the conspiracy theorists. They either ignore things that go against their theory, NYK sucking for decades or the Spurs landing Robinson/Duncan/Wemby, or they somehow pretend the facts favor their conspiracy, the NBA secretly wanted Zion in New Orleans as consolation for AD trade.

It is an unfalsefiable theory. I just like pointing it out when you get something that obviously goes against their nuttiness.

And I say this as someone who used to live Minnesota, looks back on those years very fondly, and roots against the Lakers.

he would have came back to the Lakers if he was worried about winning more rings, definitely not the Wizards. He was more worried about ownership at that point.

Before that ankle roll, he was looking like MJ (with a 3pt shot) to me. Just unguardable. I do wonder if the comparison to Kobe would be even more accurate because of the threes? Idk but I love what I'm seeing. He's playing amazing.

There's one thing that Ant knows how to do that Kobe never learned. Pass the ball. Ant has a ways to go to defend like Kobe.

OKC will push their **** in against the Wolves if the Wolves get that far.

Beatable? Sure, but not by the TWolves in a 7 game series unless OKC is missing their best players which doesn't seem to be the case as of now. The Cavs and Celtics are the only teams capable of beating OKC in a 7 game series this season.

You underestimate how formidable the Wolves are. Deep. Deep. DEEP. The supporting cast didn't step up tonight, but they usually do and when they do the Wolves are almost unbeatable.

And you're underestimating how good OKC is. And OKC is just as deep or deeper. This isn't even a debate.

If you think the Wolves have a real shot against the Thunder I have a bridge to sell you. Hope you have some money on the Wolves making it to the finals because the pay out has to be rather large. That's how much of a long shot it is.

Quit the personal attacks.

I don't get the mouth breather insult much. I think almost everybody breathes from their mouth some of the time.
Lakers should have been called for double the fouls they got called for. Wolves should have been called for half the fouls they got called for. Refs tried to rig it for the Lakers, but the Wolves are simply too good for them.

You know what, I was wrong. I was upset and I was over the line with that personal attack. I’ll just say that the rigged crowd tend to be mouth breathers but you’re clearly not one of them. You just like to instigate lol

Well, 4 chips is nothing to sneeze at. That's more championships than the whole Mavs organization.

Besides, threepeating twice in the expansion era isn't as great as you make it out to be.

Eh that was a given already basing alone on what Garnett failed to accomplish.

KG has an MVP and a DPOY. He would have had a title in 2004 if Cassell hadn't missed the WCF with an injury.

I think the play style is more Kobe than Mike but this is the first time I've ever seen anyone in the modern game resemble Kobe. Edwards is special man.

Reaves is a quality player. There are a lot of reactionary Laker fans.
